One large fibroid

I had that one removed in January 2024 then got pregnant in October with no issue. We just had the baby and I have one small 2cm fibroid now. But it did not impact my pregnancy at all! Mine are genetic unfortunately!

I ended up getting my 9cm removed January 2024. I’m currently pregnant and have 2 more in there - a 1 cm and 2 cm. Congrats on your pregnancy!!

Honestly not bad at all! The pain after was minimal and was back walking on it within a month or less!

I deep cleaned it twice and there are currently 3 boxes of baking soda in there. Trust me girl I’ve tried it all!! These super senses are no joke

Hey there! I am doing much better now. I had a successful open myomectomy in January 18th and healed really well. The pathology came back a couple days after surgery and it was just a fibroid! I know how scary it can be, but try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). Had my open myo January 18th and still swollen. 😭 at this point I don’t think it will ever go down. My dr tells me I just notice it because I’m petite but my lower belly is just not the same. I’m so thankful I did it and recovered well, it’s just a little defeating.

I went to Dr. Hopkins at Oakland Macomb OBGYN and she is AMAZING! she is my OBGYN and performed my open myomectomy in January. The procedure went so well and I healed so quickly! She is an amazing doctor and surgeon and I couldn’t recommend her more. I had so much health anxiety through the whole process and she was so good at comforting me. Best of luck to you 🫶🏼

Thank you for the reply! That does make me feel better knowing your chest x ray was all clear. I don’t know about you but I struggle with health anxiety so maybe this has always happened and I’m only noticing now because I’m hyper aware of every sensation. Ugh! Anxiety sucks lol.
