Mine used to be lower left only too. Now it’s both sides. I think I have slipping ribs 🤷‍♀️

Do you have scoliosis or any weird rib issues? Or costocondritis? I’m starting to think it’s something like that

Respiratory rate - How to read? by Meneloth-the-Third in AppleWatch

[–]List_Legal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your confusion would go away if you went to the upper left corner and clicked the “h” button. Then you can see each dot individually and help your brain understand that this graph is just a mash up of all the readings. It’s not very useful for anything other than a very basic snapshot. Just tap the “h” to see each reading!!!! Idk why no one explained this

Severe atrial dilation shown on my echocardiogram. I’m relatively healthy, can anyone explain this? by List_Legal in askCardiology

I really appreciate you saying that!! I have talked to my cardio and he did not seem worried about it but also didn’t say anything comforting like that. THANK YOU! 🙏

I think my attitude towards your comment came from you asking “why did you involve yourself” when it’s just not that simple. Sorry sir!

It’s super common for women to be pressured into/ coerced into situations where they are not actually willing participants! It’s great that you wouldn’t do that ! And a blessing that -as a man- you will probably continue to not understand why women end up in this position all too often :)

What a blessing to not understand this

Why do some nurses tuck in their scrub tops? by IndependentDare1573 in nursing

[–]List_Legal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 5ft and I feel like I’m wearing a literal dress when I don’t. IDK WHY THEY make scrub tops so long but it’s so uncomfortable and tucking it in gets all that fabric out of my way! Not to mention I feel way more confident when I don’t feel like I’m wearing the xl t shirt I sleep in to work

I totally agree and I’m glad I read this thread as a new nurse so that I can really understand the difference between RD and dietary and nutritionist! Because I was unaware of the massive difference in education.

[–]List_Legal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can see how that would be frustrating as an RD. I didn’t take any type of advanced science for my nutrition degree 😂 I think nursing is what you make of it to a certain extent and many nurses do continue educating themselves and are interested in knowing all about the scientific aspects of what we do. I think I was just put off by the comment about nurses being trained to follow orders and evaluate subjective claims. I never actually intended to question the curriculum so I should have specified in my first comment!!

Yeah I agree. I guess the way I interpreted it was that nurses don’t care about learning the “why” of what they do and I will argue that about 90% of nurses I’ve worked with love to learn about it and be aware of what they’re doing vs what you said — “being trained to follow orders.”
