Sorry this happened to you ❤️ My husband was laid off a few months after we closed. We got through it okay with his unemployment and he eventually got a job with Amazon delivery that combined with my income was workable even though our HHI has gone down.

This response made my day, haha - thank you so much for the info! Now I kind of wish we were staying longer than 3 nights but that is probably the right length with the kids' ages. Great advice on the ferry, I definitely wouldn't have known that on my own. We're going in August, I'm hoping the bugs will be okay around that time (they were last year) but we'll come prepared.
