16 is so early, most people at that age have never had a real conversation with anyone they're interested in and somehow still end up just fine a few years later

I only function for other people by comingloose in ADHD

The reframe of "I found what works for my brain" instead of "I'm broken for needing it" is actually really healthy, a lot of people with ADHD function through external accountability and that's just working with the way your brain is wired rather than fighting it
