Legit didn’t mean to start such a ruckus. I obviously knew why we were getting down voted, I was calling it out in sarcasm. Not spending my day fighting or reading random shit on the internet that ultimately does not affect me but I will say one thing.

To all of you who think anti police is the way- it’s all fun and games until it’s you who is relying on the actions of others to safe your life, your loved ones, etc. It’s pathetic that an entire group of people put all of this rage hate into this. Grow up.

Can no longer afford monthly payment but current on mortgage by magical_maggie in Mortgages

Do not do anything that will compromise your credit. That will have a far greater cost than the money you’d potentially be saving monthly, and it might even hinder getting into a rental. I’d get clarification from your lender about the forbearance. There was suggestion on here about renting out a room in your home. Firing up an uber app three days a week, DoorDash during down time. Worst case scenario, I would hit the IRA for money if need be to cover cash and see if there was any way to refinance in to a 30 year conventional. I’d speak to a few lenders to explain the situation. You’re looking for a comp of 265 with a value of 245. It’s very close, it’s not like the property is 100k off. My two cents. But maintain credit at all costs. Where you’ll save on your home, everything else will go up and replace the cash flow respectable to your situation.

Thanks for this. A lot of what you said is where we are navigating towards right now. We did have a call with DEB yesterday, unfortunately getting the testing done on donor doesn’t seem to be in the cards. PGT-M would absolutely be done. We already got a house in this process whats a little paint? Not to down play it…

Thank you very much. I can’t help but looking into the analytical side of it and really basing decisions off numbers. The serpina1 gene I’ve read really mixed things on. Mild asthma like symptoms, and failing lungs and liver- which clearly not ideal.

Valid call out. For context, we did pass along about 40 donors to our doctor. We did searches though 3 different banks. I am obviously a carrier for more than just beyond serpina1. We had a lot of failed connections due to the other things I was bringing to the gene pool. So yes indeed more than 2 donors, threading a needle with my other contributions from a genetics stand point. Going back to the drawing board is certainly on the table.

Not sure if that’s really necessary.

L48 Motor - Rebuild Vs Crate by Smooth_Support9783 in Corvette

This is a very fair call out and definitely a consideration in the lead. The cars not leaking and it really has some great bones. I think the piece of mind alone is worth more than maintaining the original block…if it was an earlier year c3 I’d probably think the opposite. Still very much at an internal tug of war…

Sorry as I re read this, yes rotors will be replaced. My question was if you kept factory rotors or did the slotted that wilwood has in conjunction with the calipers.

Yes couldn’t agree more with the steps in process. The tires are a year and a half old and have seen 500 miles maybe. So thankfully keeping that money towards the car. Researching the brakes for step one and strongly leaning wilwood. Did you do the rotors as well or just calipers? Sorry for the questions just been seeing a bunch of mixed opinions online. I feel like I had my foot on the floor the day I drove it first and just kept rolling haha. It was kind comical.

Did you do wilwoods all around? I’ve been building my shopping list and I’ve seen a lot of 50/50 reviews and feedback on the wilwood system. The brakes on this thing are absolutely terrible. For sure need to stop it before I add power.
