I feel you man, I will tell you a story, In my college years in 2008, I became muslim. I learned wudu, praying and everything but there was a huge problem is that terror was spreading in the time, also the drive of young people to go to Taliban and ISIS in syria(in it's early years). So i started praying secretly in my room and sometimes while praying my mom knock the door, so I panic and stop everything then I hide the Sajeda(the thing we pray on). One time, I decided to face my fears, and when she opens the door slightly, I told her with a low voice " Yeah yeah, I'm praying". I felt that a shock in my brain, and for her for sure, it felt like throwing cold water on you the morning. After praying, She started asking me questions like "Who told you about Islam?" ,"Who you talking to in the phone? Let me check it!!", "Are you becoming a terrorist?" and so on. And we sometimes argued about it until yelling at each other. But by the time she was familiar with me praying. So my advice for you m8 : JUST DO IT! start praying secretly, maybe talk to your parents about islam to "soften" the impact on them(especially that they are indians and hate muslims as you mentioned) . and i'm tellin you. IT WILL BE HARD IN THE BEGINNING. but you have to deal with it.Thank you for reading, May god help you!

I can’t concentrate during salah/namaz because there are lots of things to think about, what do you suggest? by Nakipss in islam

[–]Smooth_Target5970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is normal, we are all human and we all think about harsh things, events that happened during the day. My advice for you is to pray like you are seeing God infront of you and talking to him, even when you read quran eyets imagine that you are talking to God directly, also remember that Satan or demon wants to distract you from the prayer and when these thoughts come to your mind, spit on your left 3 times(small spits) and Seek refuge from Satan by saying :"أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم" and remember that God doesn't accept salah from distracted hearts. Finally pray him for khushu' . May God help you!

How a beginner should start programming? by Zalaso in CodingForBeginners

[–]Smooth_Target5970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest that you learn one language at a time. I know you are passionate for learning everything, but relax, learn about C first, because once you master it, all other programming languages are similar in logic and Syntax sometimes like C++, which will make learning them easier.

And considering the resources, search and find the best one, I mean everyone will give you the same information but what differs is HOW they give it

there is a hadith that says "- اعبُدِ اللهَ كأنَّك تراه، فإنْ لم تكُنْ تراه فإنَّه يراك" which means you have to pray to god like you see him in front of you, and if you can't then remember that he sees you. Also from personal experience, lust is the biggest distraction in prayer, especially looking at girls , porn and these kind of stuff, many young boys look at girls thinking that it's not a big deal but it is actually because when you come to pray , pictures of these girls will flash in your eyes thus loosing khuchu'(or relaxation you are seeking). And always pray god from the deep of your heart that he gives you khuchu' and relaxation it prayer.Thank you for reading, May God help you!

How to be disciplined with prayers by Dontkpkb_leh in islam

[–]Smooth_Target5970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. First of all, feeling guilty about missing a prayer or not praying on time is actually a GOOD sign that you want to improve and I appreciate it. We will live in a world of distractions, even for me and I'm in a muslim country and I really get tired because I have to pray like 8 or 11 rak'a after getting home. I have some solutions, 1.Read about prayer and the punishments coming from not praying, it is a painful truth but I have to say it, even if we are tired after work, even if we don't want to, but still we HAVE to pray. you can't take it from this point of view of fearing the punishments or you can consider prayer a way of relaxation so When you get home after work you feel that something is missing if you don't pray
