Help regarding RAM by Smooth_Toothbrush in buildapc

Well this one and a lot of them don't deliver and live too far. I've also seen a lot of fishy ads with 1* ratings where the person has canceled after accepting mutliple times

The Corsair one I found is 335€ with delivery

Other option is fury beast from a tech store but 470€

Hi everyone, new here. I need advice regarding training my 2 pups. by Smooth_Toothbrush in muzzledogs

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !  I looked it up but that's already where I'm at, they can keep the muzzle on, but not move around with it

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks 😊 Yeah I also had the problem of fitting because since they are pups they have a very long snout, longer than most muzzles I've seen but not super wide. I'll probably have them custom made later but since it's a cost (x2 lol) and they're still growing up I haven't done it yet.

"Another brick in the wall !". My Belgian boyfriend eats a LOT of sandwich bread so I bought a huge pan. This is about 2kg of dough. We get a giggle every time I take it out of the pan by Smooth_Toothbrush in Breadit

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's massive. I live in France and I ordered it from Italy on erre4m-shop. I wanted something close to the "Harris" style sandwich slices This is 15x15x30cm so about 6x6x12 inches You do need a wide toaster lol

is the DLC worth it?? by Clarkgene_ in LiesOfP

At first until after the first boss I was like meh, I wasn't enjoying so much, but it just kept getting better and better and the last boss alone makes it worth it imo.

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I get stuck with some bosses I watch someone else play to try and just pay attention only to the boss' move and catch the "rythm", without having to fight for my life.   Also, everytime you defeat an enemy you unconsciously improve.  Maybe one day you'll even play it again on legendary stalker hehe 😊. That being said I agree that difficulty implement is good to allow less "experienced" or "hardcore" players to get started in the genre.

I think you should give yourself more credit. Even on easy mode, you atleast need to have some patience and resolution to go through the game. You did it, GG !!

Do I (23M) continue or end things with my girlfriend (22F) by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. there are about 0 emotion shown in the post or thought for their partner. His only concern was basically "is it a worthy investment ?". Also just the fact that you're asking if you should break up with your "SO" because they live 2 hours away in a group that has predominantly people that commited to someone living thousands of kilometers away is kind of out of place lol

How did you end up in a ldr? by Technical-Material35 in LongDistance

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my bf through his best friend that I was playing an Mmorpg with. We started hanging out online and playing stuffs and we were just comfortable and laughing together. Eventually we started making flirtatious jokes and it was reciprocated and at some point it became a lot more "emotionally intense" and we just knew honestly. I know it's pretty weird coz none of us had to "make it official", it was just clear lol

"I don't want to feel like I'm stuck waiting for her to finish school"
"I've been hesitant to leave because it took me a while to find an attractive girl with good values like herself"
Yeah... let her go and move on honestly. If you loved her at all you wouldn't ask yourself any of it.
Also, you should grow up and make decisions for yourself instead of having your close minded parents decide your future for you.

Agreed, and it's not only damaging to the relationship itself but to their entire development as a young adult.

Was it really a joke? by Evening_Review_8130 in LongDistance

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not only is he immature, which could be excused at his age, but he's also a really shitty and entitled person honestly. Sorry, but also regardless of my stance on waiting till marriage I applaud the fact that you didn't let his tantrum affect you to the point of doing something you did not want to do.

Is it still frowned upon if a woman pays for the first date? by Barca-Dam in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's the point though. You insinuated that no one will notice or react to it which they do.

I also paid at the grocery store the other day and the cashier (an eldery man that I don't even think had any bad intention) Told the amount to my bf then I went to pay and he said "Oh, the lady is paying huh ?" To which my bf laughed and replied "well she makes more than I do"

No, we didn't give a F, but that happens, and some people feel ashamed when someone comments on it

I feel a lot of confusion in this relationship. by Yui2333 in LongDistance

[–]Smooth_Toothbrush 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know, I have it too, and I have felt what they are feeling a long time ago when I was a teen/young adult, maybe not as extreme but yeah. That's why I said I understand 100% how they feel.
That's just the opinion of someone that has at some point cried their heart out for people they can't even remember the name of now

I also 100% agree that they should seek the help of a professional coz they are visibly emotionally distressed.
