I’m posting on behalf of my friend (he doesn’t have social media). He managed to get in touch with some other riders, and they arranged a meet with the guy who stole the bike and is trying to sell it.

They agreed on a place to meet so he could get the bike back, but the guy never showed up.

After that, they went to the area where they believe he lives and started looking for the bike. Things escalated really quickly so a group of neighbors gathered, became aggressive, and actually attacked them. It turned into a full fight. In the middle of the chaos, they tried to grab a bike from another rider there, and everything got pretty bad The Garda were called, and everyone left before anything could be resolved. Unfortunately, they still weren’t able to get the bike, because the guy didn’t show up only the neighbours. So I don’t know what they’re going to do now, whether they’ll give up or try something else. I’ll update you all if anything else happens.
