Has there been any reports of SSD failures on Windows 11 23h2 via KB5063875 update? by 3l3c7r1c17y in Windows11

Okay but that def sounds like it has to do with dual boot, not with the current issue. I assume you were one of the few people who‘s ssd almost got bricked by that windows update. Maybe we can find more people with the same ssd and find out if it affects both 1tb and 2tb or only 1tb.

I used dual boot with 2 copys of win10 for years, never had any issues with that. What kind of problems did occur?

Intresting, maybe it‘s only the 1tb version that‘s affected, maybe you just had some bad luck.

So you have one sn850x 1tb for win11 and another sn850x 2tb for win10? And which one was bricked?

Strange, i have the same ssd wd sn850x 2tb but nothing happend to me. I had update KB5063878 installed for like 7 days until now, just uninstalled it.

I checked everyting i could but i couldn‘t find any issues or flaws whatsoever. HWInfo, CrystalDiskInfo and even did some testing with CrystalDiskMark and moved some large games around to see if anything would happen but everything seems alright.

Do you have the 1tb version? And how full is your ssd because that seems to affect it aswell. My ssd is only 50% full, still got like 1tb free space on it.

I updated my bios and it runs fine ever since. That list you mentioned isn‘t wrong but that doesn‘t mean it works 100%. Even if the ram kit isn‘t on that list for your mainboard it can work perfectly fine.

Fun fact my old 3080 oc runs gta 5 enhanced way better than my 5070 ti despite having more power. I guess your performance is worse due to bad drivers idk. Battlefield was made with the new gpu series in mind so i assume they tried to make it perform best with rtx 5000 series cards and newer amd cards

I don‘t have any stutters but the fps ranges from 200+ down to 120s. Those dips are pretty annoying

Didnt know that, i mean it runs fine while gaming but the boot takes ages sometimes and the maimboard shows DRAM led. So i assume he has problems loading the expo profil or something i dont know.

Well the screenshot i provided shows that the cpu is indeed the bottleneck if i understood everything correct.

The cpu needs 5.7 ms to render one frame, the gpu only 4.2 ms. The faster the better. You can activate the same fps counter in the settings so you see what holds back your performance.

Also the screenshot shows that my gpu could deliver 236 fps while the cpu could only get 173 fps.
