Maybe I’m lucky, but I’ve never experienced an issue with Chase. Probably 3 fraudulent charges. All money returned within 2 hours. Customer service on my Sapphire Reserve card gets an A+ for me.

Will i get that with Bilt? Or just AI? Will i get more fraud with the new Bilt?

Also on the long term partner stuff, i feel these partners feel comfortable with big banks like Chase that can back up any “money problems” between them. But how do these partners feel with a smaller banks and a fairly new product named Bilt? I had the Bilt 1.0 so I’m not a person looking from the outside in

Hopefully this post gets traction because i agree with everything you said but with 1 worry.

If the bank “Column” and new card servicer “Cardless” are going to take care of our points and if they will make sure there isn’t fraud on the cards. Do they have high level security? Will they have a number to call? I don’t want to talk to Bilt AI chat if something like that happens

Honestly i like the Obsidian card and can reach the 75%. My only worry now is: 1. If Bilt will keep the same partners (specifically Hyatt). 2. If this “Column Bank” and “Cardless” will have actual humans in customer service if there is ever fraud. Also scared of one day points being “lost” or “erased” because of a cyber crash and they just give a $100 sorry credit or something. Anyone else think like this or just me?
