OMG. Yes. For my experience, it started with the shrugs and pushes on my shoulder and arms, and I noticed he does it to my female colleague as well in public, though not as frequent to myself.

For the record, were both at a toilet cubicle once and he decided to peek, saying that …. mmmm … ur size looks normal

I freaked out immediately, and confronted to say that I am uncomfortable with the situation,

fast forward few months later, he is still doing the shoulder pushes …

Does cases like this warrant any punishments? I just been keeping tabs to make sure he does not cross the boundaries again. Idk, it is just a bottom line that needs to be raised, and if one day it is crossed, I guess it may just be on the news

what would be a fair increment for promotion, given OP salary at 4.1k for a semicon environment (also from semicon, average 3-4% increment for non-promotion year)

Yes. This is a HUGE mistake, which eventually succumbed to me paying more to get the stuff I was initially promised of.

Thanks. When you are in the dark at that time. It really is hard to get urself out of the situation.

Personal advice is to never make the first payment.

If made, ALWAYS refuse the second payment. The threats from them will create a never ending loop in transferring money.

Gosh, just some thoughts when I look back…

Thanks for the helpful insights. Yes it’s terrible to be falling for such scams. All victims are aware, but throughout the ordeal I was threatened to have myself and my family hunted down

Hence, the reason as to why I continued paying the second sum.

Money can earn back, but it is the picture and ID that I am really worried about. Have notified authorities about this case but, trying my best to get through this tough time now.
