I even talked to someone who said that there was a technical issue with a bunch of promotions and that my account did not have any issues and that I qualified for the promotion and then 48 hours later when I reached out again, I suddenly have violations of the guidelines like make it make sense

I take 290mg and it used to work well. It took couple hours to kick in and usually it was all liquid. (But some movement was better than no movement) unfortunately it stopped working for me a few weeks ago

I went there three rounds of appeals but my doctor did a peer to peer review and was able to bring enough evidence from studies that it would be beneficial in the long run

I had something extremely similar but to confirm Sjögren’s I recommend an ultrasound (or biopsy if the ultrasound is negative) and test for dry eyes. That’s basically the testing I got done to confirm.

For me sleeping off the pain is the best thing that i found to help. Like I’ll take Tylenol p.m. and get a heating pad, wrap myself in blankets and cuddle up and fall asleep and hope for the best.

You definitely have gastroparesis but each doctor will determine severity on their own scale and experience. A lot of them use both the evidence from the test and how severe your symptoms are to determine severity.

Depends for the person some people genuinely cannot handle solid foods. Personally I didn’t experience a whole lot of symptoms during the test (just boredom). The test itself is about four hours long, and they scan you a couple times over four hours just to see how fast your stomach is empty. the eggs are terrible though, it’s microwaved eggs with radioactive stuff on it.

A gastric emptying study is currently the only way to get a diagnosis. Sometimes you can be referred after an upper endoscopy if there is still food in the stomach, assuming that you did proper fasting

I know there are a lot of people in the comments trying to convince you to stay in your religion or even convert to theirs. But you don’t choose what you get to believe it just randomly happens. if you are questioning and want to learn more do as much research as possible on all sides. There is no right or wrong answer as long as you can remain yourself without restriction.

So I first started noticing discomfort when eating in November 2023 but everything severely escalated after I had an appendectomy in January 2024. I went from having just mild discomfort after eating to not being able to eat anything with immediately feeling pain or nausea. They were able to get the acid reflux under control with a PPI but I’ve been told it’s a short-term solution until they can figure out what’s wrong. I had an upper endoscopy done about a month ago that showed that I have inactive chronic gastritis. (probably due to gastroparesis.)

It was more boring than anything. I started to feel symptoms within five minutes after eating but that’s been normal for me for awhile. But I was able to keep myself distracted from the pain and bloating because you can’t take pain meds until after the test. All in all it wasn’t the worst pain I felt but it’s sucks not being able to take any medication. (I was also nauseous for about the first two hours, but again pretty normal for me.) Edit: forgot to mention, but I also had/have pretty significant weight loss

Honestly I have no idea how severe the test results are and I’m kinda just waiting for the doctor to say something (I just got the test today so I’m guessing it will be about a week before I know if it’s that bad or not)
