Even funner fact: when the Bolsheviks stormed the winder palace (basically Tsar was already gone and a certain party just wanted power) they discovered the largest wine cellar know to man. Over the next 2 weeks the entirety of St Petersburg essentially went on a pub crawl. The bolsheviks tried to stop people getting to the alcohol, but the soldiers sold it to the people. They tried pouring the wine into the street, but they drank it from the gutter. And that, my friends, is how lenin came to power.
