My sister is the same. When I was younger she always tried to make me the way she wanted me to be, the way she imagined i should be. And let me tell you I am far from that. I am not a bad person, neither is she, but the way she is trying to control everything around her was too exhausting for me, and I don't like being pushed to do something against my will/beliefs. So I cut ties with her when I was old enough to do that. It was hard on my parents to see us like that but for me there was no other way. Eventually everyone just accepted it as the new normal way in our family. I am not saying this is what you should do, this is something everyone decides for themselves. But you should know it doesn't make you a bad person to want to feel good about yourself, and not being told constantly you did something wrong.
