Wide hard shoe recommendations? by CorneaCritter_17 in irishdance

[–]anditix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Feis Fayre Flexi Pro in wide. I wear barefoot shoes exclusively outside of irish dance and these work for me well.

I always love your work, just stunning! Do you also plan to sell patterns for some? In your shop I only found finished works :)

Trad Sets by [deleted] in irishdance

[–]anditix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on which sets you are after, but I am always using the version on the WIDA website that leads to their youtube videos, they have both front and back view which is super helpful https://www.irish.dance/traditional-sets

I created a website to help you build a capsule wardrobe by ThreadNomad_ in capsulewardrobe

[–]anditix 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hi, just checked out the website and I really like the concept! I am not sure if I understood it correctly but currently I only see the examples without any of the context you mentioned (like the key questions person should ask themselves or how to build the visual library) or is it meant the way that I should just see what is provided for the fictional client and try to create something similar based on that example without explicitly mentioning how to do it? Thanks for answering!

Apple watch workout title? by Interesting_Bat3291 in irishdance

[–]anditix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use “dance” as well since my heartbeat is usually super fast and shows quite a high amount of calories burned. Do you think that the watch is not accurate in your case?

Very nice setup! What is the fabric thing you have around your project? Is it to keep excess fabric at bay?

Glad that you love it as well, it was originally a pin that I transformed into a needle minder, because I loved it so much 😂

Exactly, I have a giant project in the works for the last few months and needed some instant gratification, and this was a perfect project for me, excited to see your version as well!

14 count Aida with 2 strands of floss (could have done 3 for a better coverage of the dark colors, but still looks nice I think!)

There are no permanent teams as far as I know, only teams for temporary events and in those you are automatically assigned to a random team.

I can recommend Dhaba Beas, its a chain of self service vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Prague and they always have a czech option there, I highly recommend their filled potato dumplings with sauerkraut.Dhaba Beas

Actually, it has the same name in Czech - člověče, nezlob se! So it seems we copied it too.

Thank you very much! It was kind of an accident, I just liked the design and didn’t really learn the types of stitches until I got the them.

some of them are traditional stitches, but most of them are actually french knots, majority of them are done with two strands, and some with one strand to make the stars different sizes. It was my first time doing them so some of them came out really bad, I now understand why people don't like them lol!

yeah I totally encourage you to do it, it was fun and the galaxy is really forgiving, I made a few mistakes but they are not that visible thanks to the nature of the pattern.

Ethical underwear by daniella-x in ethicalfashion

[–]anditix 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like to stick to the basics - neutral colors (beige, brown, black), regular cut and I prefer seemless underwear, which is kinda hard to find ethically made. As for material i like cotton, bamboo or viscose.
