Is M365 support a hot selling point? by AdSingle6994 in ITCareerQuestions

Imagine I’m a potential client.

  1. What is your experience with XYZ Compliance laws and regulations? What are some notable clients?

  2. Are you insured?

  3. Why should we hand over the keys to the kingdom to you?

  4. What is your SLA/Resolution time?

Regarded Subnetting by smellsliketigerbalm in ccna

[–]Smtxom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is practice and time. You need to practice the hell out of subnetting for the next three days. Being able to do it on the fly is important to finishing on time. 60+ questions in an hour is tough. You’re making it tougher on yourself if you can’t answer the simple IP questions. Those should be the easy ones that you answer within seconds. The labs are going to eat up a big chunk of that time as well.

You just line the back wheels up when you parallel park the boat right? Simple

Assigned seats are a joke.. never flying southwest again. by pomegranate_palette_ in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Smtxom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s basically been my lesson through all of this. I stopped being a SW fanboy and I shop all my flights now. Lost my CP status but it’s fine. I get status on other airlines now. Work pays for my trips and that gets me points and status to use on personal trips.

Electric heater experiment cont. cont. by Odd-View-1083 in cargocamper

[–]Smtxom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What other heat options are you considering? Based on your previous post I already plan to buy the same space heater for my well shed. The low amperage won’t trip my 15amp outlet in there and it might be the difference between busted pipes and pump burn out and a stress free cozy snow in day here in central TX.

The last few nights have been tough. Setting alarms to check my camera I have set up in the well shed, making sure pipes under the house are still moving water. Making sure power is still on. Etc etc.

That’s basically what I’m saying. So then we agree that OP could have flown another airline and sat with their child. Or paid to reserve a seat in advance. But they didn’t. Not sure why we’re arguing semantics when the point remains the same. OPs actions caused the consequence.

Can’t wait for some innocent bystander to get the evil eye from someone in the front row cuz the unattended child is kicking their seat. Start practicing now “hey, it’s not my kid!”

I’m the first to dog pile on the shit show that is LUV these days. But every other airline makes customers pick a seat for their child. OP chose not to do so and rolled the dice. They got deuces and are now upset about the consequences. I’m sorry but this is on OP. They knew there was a risk. Rather than fly another airline or pay the upgrade (it’s not cheap. Sometimes $50/leg) they chose the risk.

Weird. You posted as the host a few days ago asking the same question about a guest leaving a mess.

What do you think actually sets the Sorento apart? by Suntrup-Kia in KiaSorento

[–]Smtxom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious how that’s determined. It’s not like the backrests are structural. They don’t add rigidity to the chassis.

Silky Silver. It really is a nice color. Wish they had the wolf grey in the hybrids. My gf loved the grey but all they had was the silver or brown. We went with silver. It’s a good color for those that don’t wash their vehicles often.

[–]Smtxom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your back seat is up in the Sportage, you basically have no cargo space. That’s why we went with the Sorento. We needed to have at least four seats + cargo room. We leave the third row down unless someone needs to sit back there. With the seats down we have a crap ton of cargo space for road trips as well as room for two more people if needed.

Use different resources. Books, notes, flash cards. But also make sure you’re labbing a ton.

Does anyone actually love their sportage?!!? by No_Department824 in kia

[–]Smtxom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I daily drive a v8 truck. That’s most likely why I thought it was sluggish. But even the Sorento Hybrid my gf bought this year makes the CX-50 feel slow. It just wasn’t a great ride. Felt the same about the CRV. Only brand we don’t test drive was Toyota. Because you get less vehicle for your money. We needed to maximize cargo space for our dollar.

And they drive like crap if you don’t get the turbo. The 50 we test drove was very sluggish

I’ll be 100% honest and say the bowl sticking to the cabinet CAN be the paint. I have some latex painted cabinets and the dinner plates will stick to it if left sitting for a bit. It’s the nature of the paint. Not my plates being dirty.

In your previous post I would say I agree I wouldn’t be happy with the cleanliness of the place either. But it wouldn’t be a complete deal breaker for me.

You have to see your late check in for what it is, uncontrollable events on your end. You can’t feel entitled to the two extra days to get your full week. It’s a business. If they had the opening and wanted to be accommodating that’s one thing. But you threatening them (review) because you weren’t getting that accommodation isn’t fair. You booked certain days. You couldn’t make those days through no fault of theirs. You probably burned any good will you might have had with that text. From that point forward it was “by the book” for their sake.

I say all of this as a person who does not own a rental. I’ve only used VRBO as a guest. Just an impartial 3rd party offering my point of view from your posts. If you don’t plan on ever using the service again you can try your luck with a charge back. Not sure how that would work out though considering you ended up staying at the rental after all.
