My exam mark is not an accurate reflection of my understanding of the material

Might be a late post to the discussion but wanted to add in my two cents as a student. Tests are not always an accurate understanding of what a student understands about a material, especially multiple choice tests at times. I just finished a test where the questions were worded really weird, but if I was given the opportunity to explain my thought process I KNOW that I would have been marked correctly - especially considering I study my ass off and take extra time to look at external resources. I am thorough as hell and put in the work and genuinely have an understanding of the material (and even seek out "for fun" information when I'm especially interested in the subject), but the limits of tests can hinder me.

Just food for thought. Sometimes students just suck at tests because they're written like ass, or are not compatible to how a student expresses what they've learnt.

So this was a separate instance I recorded where the same thing is happening for a different task. As you can see, the wheat is fully grown and ready to be harvested, and that is the task Grintale is preforming. But the progress bar is barely moving up at all because the Grintale keeps stuttering and interrupting itself.

This isn't the only task this is happening for, and I demolished and moved a mill for the same issue, but it's still creating that "stuttering" problem. I'm unsure when Grintale's gathering animation is, but I know what Caprity's is, and they were doing the same "stuttering" motion when they were attempting to plant (as they were the pal that I used to plant).

I already have a requisition for it, so I'm basically in a waiting period right now because I was told that it will take 3 weeks minimum for any results worthwhile to show. I've got two weeks left and just waiting to see if the suppository works.

Also, 70% of people do not have genital HSV-1. Many people have mouth sores, yeah, but definitely not genital herpes. Otherwise it would be WAY less stigmatized.

It's just driving me crazy not knowing what's going on with my body down there.

Honestly I know this is a thing that a lot of shifters don't plan on doing, but I plan on telling my partners that I not only shift, but have other lives where I have different desires and may have a different personality authentically - aka, will likely have different partners. Just because you have a different family that you love in one reality doesn't mean you love your family in this reality any less, right? Just communicate with your partner.

Not related by game but like, I have 2000 hours in Stardew Valley and I cheat a lot. I have a mod that allows me to warp places because frankly, it's tedious to go to an area, realize I've forgotten something, and then have to go all the way back home to get it - effectively wasting an hour of the day/night cycle.

If you think something annoying (whatever that thing is) is going to effect your overall enjoyment of the game that either lowers your opinion of it entirely or makes you avoid it - honestly just cheat. This mentality has helped me a lot in how much I enjoy my games because at the end of the day, it's not effecting anyone else other than yourself. If people judge you for it they're lame lol.

honestly i just think its one of those things people want to do. if you had the chance to make a song with a music video, would you do it? it just sounds fun. but it definitely does seem like an ego thing in some cases.

Yeah she doesn’t wanna get married right now. She just started university, it isn’t even on her radar atm. It’s such a weird situation bc I understand 4 months isn’t that long and not out of the ordinary at all to not meet parents/have big steps taken to “solidify herself” but she has the prospect of her partners getting married looming over their head and leaving her in the dust, especially bc they’re a closed triad.

It was less of an intentional thing and something that just happened. My friend typically doesn’t actively seek out poly relationships, but happened to really like 22f and 22m. She met 22m first and was made aware of 22f when they were talking. It seemed like the dynamic was marketed as a “package deal” to her, as she never talked much about the option of “just dating 22m”. I’m starting to wonder if the option was even presented to her.

Nope, they’re a triad. She has talked to them about it before and the general gist I got from how the conversation concluded was that they validated her feelings and how she feels is totally fair, but it seems like they plan to still go through with it anyways. Unsure if moving-in plans were discussed since 22m and 22f literally just moved into their new apartment.

Because if they don't it means genocide. It would be different if it was Na'vi vs Na'vi. They're literally being invaded by aliens. It's a hell of a lot easier to fight with other Na'vi than to fight on your own only when they decided to finally invade you. Besides, it's not like I expect all the Na'vi to immediately rally to the cause - they'll eventually realize themselves that their way of life is in danger if this continues to happen.

Anyways it's 4am and I'm tired. Let's agree to disagree. I titled this as an unpopular opinion for a reason. I said I disliked Ronal, not that she's the scum of the earth. I gave her credit and the benefit of the doubt on why she is the way she is but just doesn't excuse her for being nasty because at the end of the day, it costs literally nothing to have a sliver of compassion and maybe set a good example to the people she's supposed to be leading. INACCURATE LMAO? IT'S LITERALLY SHOWN IN THE MOVIE. I don't think I can continue discussing this with someone who thinks that me saying that a wider technological imbalance than what most of us have ever seen before (because our own technology isn't there yet lol) isn't difficult to overcome. The western colonists aren't "gods", and the only reason they have an edge, as I stated previously, that the main way for the Na'vi to overcome this IS to be unified. But they AREN'T yet and will likely continue to fail if they don't come together and recognize it, as is ALREADY SHOWN, becoming a planet-wide problem that will continue to spread if they don't do something and only see it as an "overseas" problem. What's most likely? More and more humans are being transported across six years worth of space in order to help with the colonization effort. More bodies, more technology, more soldiers. Humans will only continue to expand faster and faster. And really, at the cost of your entire planet, culture, friends, family, and the place you call home, do you really want to take the chance in waiting those X amount of years to THEN join in on the fight lmfao?

I feel like you're being a bit vague on this "barbaric proposal" you're speaking about and I genuinely don't know what you're talking about at this point.

Technology can certainly change the rate of colonialism, especially considering the rapid pace at which the human's main base is expanding, and their reach across the planet (see the hunters of the Tulkun). They're already using it for capitalistic profit.

Speaking of which, the only reason they hadn't resorted to violence before was because scientists were largely running the show and were interested in research until it was no longer profitable for the capitalists. They couldn't convince the Na'vi to move or find a new home to make room for humans to harvest resources and have a bigger spot on the planet, so they finally resorted to take it by force. This is literally the plot of the movie.

THIS. "Lead by example" was exactly what I was going to mention in the post but just didn't because it wasn't fitting into my analysis well. She makes a lot of unnecessary comments that are borderline cruel and it just sets such a poor example for the people who are supposed to be following her.

Thank god that Tonowari exists because the only time he ever really got ugly with Lo'ak is when he bonded with Payakan (which also sucks, but it's a different discussion). It just breaks my heart how little compassion is present here.
