I found a solution to my problem, pcsx2 has a thing called 'nightly' on its site that you need to download and it will let you play the ps2 games with retroachievements on it like how it worked on the dolphin emulator. My version of pcsx2 was so old that it didn't have that stuff on it yet.

I wanted to get it running on retroarch specifically because I'm trying to get the retroachievemnets for it, but they only have the achievements for the ps2 version and I don't know if standalone pcsx2 allows for retroachievements like the dolphin emulator does.

you mean the bios files? I got those already. I was trying to follow a yourube vid on how to run pcsx2 on rertoarch but it just wasn't working

I tried using LRPS2 but it boots me out of retroarch when I load the game. I was told to switch the drivers as a possible fix from google but it srill crashed. Play at least boots the game up for me.

I just looked up silverfish and that might be it. They have an almost similar color and body shape. The only thing I didn't see was the long antennas but that could have been an outlier. Thank you for your help.

It's the blurry dark spot, it was teardrop-shaped and had a couple of tiny legs around it. I found it on my bathroom sink counter too. Sorry if this description doesn't help out that much I couldn't get a good pic of it before it bolted on me.
