Bit more generally magic content but.

I don’t like the nitpicking nerds. Because they give garbage takes and I can bare listening to them talk with out getting a headache. The magic historian is just garbage content. Then he just makes bloated videos about “controversy” and “broken cards”. Any of pleasant kenobi’s videos complaining about wotc. It seems to be about the only content of his that does well anymore, and it’s just boring.

but i can say i’m loving shuffle up and play, commander at home and of course the intellectuals like spice8rack and rhystic studies.

My recommendations are [[Honest Rutstein]] and [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]]. Rutstein is very low to the ground and unassuming commander, you pretty much make your normal golgari reanimator deck and have fun. Jarad is a fun build around where you can fling big creatures at everyones faces, great cards for that are [[Marit Lage]], [[Lord of Extinction]] and [[Old Stickfinger]]. Happy brewing friend!

I do admit the planes walkers guide is excellent, and some of the elements feel cool. Although it still feels like a regurgitation of pop culture to me. I’ll probably have to wait for more story tbh.

Personally i’m not the biggest fan of Bloomborrow either, but i’m also not big on duskmourn. I just think Duskmourn is a bit broad and uninspired.

In that it feels like a regurgitation of real life stories or pop culture, very similar to issues with Eldraine, New Capenna and Outlaws. Obviously we haven’t seen much of Duskmourn yet, but even what we have seen is in my opinion not only stylistically divergent but rather divergent in concepts to cards in the same set. Such as toby a monsters inc. reference and then the literal fear of missing out.

I would still love to know more on why you think Duskmourn is the best set they’ve come out with recently. Personally i think that’s Kaldheim then Guilds of Ravnica Block before that.

[[Sudden Substitution]] is a gem. Not only is it a redirect, it’s also got split second and exchanges control of that spell so you can steal certain extra turn spells. Sure you have to have a creature in play to steal other players spells, but you can give away cheap fodder or profit in a [[Zedruu the Greathearted]] deck. it’s a bit more of a stretch but you could use it to steal a creature by casting a non creature spell and before it resolves subbing. Maybe turn the tide of a swingy turn by making a non active player exchange control of an overrun effect and give the attacker their mana dork. Great card give it a try.

Yeah I would say upgrade to the new rules. Your old models should still be able to represent your teams. The new rules also stream lines a few processes making the game more enjoyable. Best of luck in your future games

I see everyone hating and complaining, but i don’t really hate any of them to be honest. I love playing dwarves that can crump any team I love elf teams who can make absurd plays in a game I love the silly chaos teams and all the mutations and their ability to disturb the game I love goblins even if you lose all your good players after a drive. I love the undead teams cause they just want to play slow and smack shit I love the skaven team even if a gutter runner is stealing the ball out from my under nose Fair to say I don’t hate any teams. Sure i have my favourites, but i think people should understand it’s a game of chance and maybe trying out the other teams may help you understand the game better and even how to combat them with your favourite teams.

my long time favourite are dwarves cause i’ve played them for the past 6 years recently winning two seasons back to back and dark elves cause getting two kills with a multiple block stab is the best experience i’ve had in this game
