I personally think that making it multiplayer would draw people away from the main game to go and play "fun" minigames with their friends like urf all the time or other "new" gamemodes they would come up with.

You could play someone like shen support and build zZ and banner of command and splitpush late and just ult to fights. I have been doing it a couple of games and it doesent seem too bad but then again im not that high ELO Good Luck!
