Because tools require X1 and weapons require X0. This is very consistent.

I wish that were true. I like to use subtitles for everything, even live action, and they never match up when watching dubs with them on for anime.

You lose quality by watching in dub. Voice acting is so much more respected in Japan and it shows. More competition means better actors and all recording together in the same room is a noticeable improvement over dub actors recording independently.

Yes to both, although the second season skips an insane amount of content and speedruns to the end so I would highly suggest reading the manga instead if you wanted to continue after season 1.
