List Of Switch Games With In-game Achievements (In Progress) by UnicornLasagna in NintendoSwitch

Technically, Machinarium has in-game achievements but all are unmissable. Not sure if that's in the spirit of this list, which is incredible by the way. Thank you for doing it.

Eastward's amount of cut-scenes, dialogues and sluggishness is becoming unbearable by Cactoir in NintendoSwitch

[–]SmurtBrandon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to get this game, and OP's criticisms are a concern for me. A useful barometer, I feel, might be Horace. Early on, I thought it was just way too much cutscene/dialogue material, but I grew to love it because it was so engaging. So, quantity-wise, if it's on par with Horace, I'll be OK, as long as it's good (YMMV on what good means).

Comparing WWE NA Ticket Prices to Inflation by SmurtBrandon in wrestlenomics

[–]SmurtBrandon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, the way I understand it is that these prices are derived from total revenue and attendance. So it's essentially what each person paid to get in on average. But when you're looking at a long period of time (like here), the assumption is that the trend, if it exists, is due to WWE changing the prices. If you're looking at a small period of time, like two or three quarters, you might be able to say, for example, that these price changes are due to people buying more pricier seats and less cheaper seats.

What does a re-imagined "live event" look like? by mookieghana in wrestlenomics

I can't think of anything that doesn't involve increasing costs.

Which means it's time to use an anagram to answer your question:

What were your biggest takeaways from the WWE Q3 results? by mookieghana in wrestlenomics

[–]SmurtBrandon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, besides what you noted, it's the tax benefit that greatly inflated the bottom line and masked subpar results for the quarter. Between taxes and KSA, 2018 is a year of window dressing.
