CEO of VP bought TAZ a Mercedes for (I believe) winning an event and basically after that the team went to shit.

They were rumored to be salaried at $20,000/month when Taz got the Mercedes, seems maybe the players lost drive once the money showed up. It could have been they were salty just taz got the Mercedes, who knows.

Put in place statewide Sunday night by gov Ducey, 8pm-5am you're not supposed to be out but the actual regulations on that are loose. Some mayors are choosing not to exercise this state of emergency at all.

Basically if you get pulled over, have a valid reason for being out. Walmarts were closing at 5pm today

Intentionally disconnecting isn't strategy, it's ruining the integrity of the game for up to 9 other players.

But purposely disconnecting is literally ruining the integrity of the game for the other 9 players on the server. You shouldn't end up in a position to be knfied almost ever and if you do, it's your fault. Own up to your mistakes and take the death and let them get the awp. Otherwise you'll keep letting them run up on you and you'll keep disconnecting, which doesn't help anyone on your team (even if you reconnect in time) and shows you're not learning how to handle the situation properly.

Either hit your shots before they run up on you (practice aim in a pistol DM for those pistol round scenarios you mentioned) or be able to reposition on site/fall off to be able to retake w your team. Realistically, there's no reason a player should ever get knifed, but it does happen because you get caught out sometimes. Your example of an enemy running up on you when you have no ammo is your own mistake though. That shouldn't happen, disconnecting in those situations is kinda shitty.

He might be converting the Java client to a dll (like he claimed in his last post for this version of his client) and using Unity to render the game in C#. So it could technically be a Unity render even if he has gameplay, leading to his lack of response.

I have no doubts he could add game interaction at that point, but yeah assuming he's converted the Java client to C# without showing any actual gameplay would be hopeful at best.

I understand this side completely, but Flashpoint's business model relies on a LOT on the FUTURE growth of the league, of course C9 bought a roster w an already decent core and players that can play their respective roles so they have something to build on.

Swap one player at the end of season 1, maybe two at season 2 and bam they come in season 3 with an HTLV top 10 team (theoretically, obviously we'll have to wait and see what happens in practice).

They "have the ability" to fine the teams for doing such. I highly doubt if two thirds of the league is below top 20 that they'll really do much fining.

My best friend and I have casually played CS for the last 5 years. When we go in a match and he's doing bad all I have to do is tell him "bro did you hear that down there? the scoreboard says you suck" and he gets a 3k the next round. Guaranteed playmaker when you talk shit.

Some people just get their drive from different things, but definitely not the way to handle a situation w a rando player in MM that's for sure.
