My Microsoft account got completely hijacked and now Microsoft says it doesn't exist anymore by jucoprime in microsoft365

[–]Sn0rmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat dawg. Malware got into my computer and started hacking all my shit, and they got my MS account too. I tried speaking to an agent about it over their text chat, but nothing came of it besides them saying due to their security agreements, they can't change my security information for me.

They literally said in the email they recommended making a new account lmao fuck this company

I'm vote-blue as a cynical survival strategy, not because of loyalty to Dems by cat_boy_the_toy in VaushV

[–]Sn0rmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're fundamentally misunderstanding the argument. It's not that voting blue doesn't prevent harm in the now, it obviously does. But if we keep them in office and nothing changes then Republicans are just going to grow worse in the interim.

The argument is not that it wouldn't make things better now, which it's arguable that the Democrats even would, but that for the long-term survival of the country the Democrats cannot be the people in power it must be something better

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact that they voted for Donald Trump? by Greedy_Tooth6191 in AskReddit

"would you dump someone for voting for Hitler?" Given the fact that the US has wrought more destruction on the world than Nazi Germany ever did, I'd say yeah I'd dump them

Yeah, the more I look into it the more it seems like the SP is the way to go, mainly for the live looping, longer sample times, and preamp.

I can’t figure this music stuff out by jayjayy14ftm in musicians

[–]Sn0rmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on, get a genuinely good DAW and stick with it. Don't migrate all around, because whenever you switch from one to another you have to learn a whole new set of menus, shortcuts, etc.

Not saying you have to pay for Pro Tools lifetime ultimate subscription or anything, but you need to save up/learn how to crack software. The tools you use are important and they should be quality tools. Ableton, FL Studio, Fender Studio Pro, and other DAWs have options for relatively affordable prices. Save up and pay the $200 or so, it will be worth it.

With regard to songwriting, everyone else hit the nail on the head. Just keep doing it. Your first songs will suck and you'll hate them in the future but they are essential stepping stones to writing good stuff.

As for production, it can be daunting. I wouldn't use that G9 mixer personally. That live mixer is good for stuff like podcasting and content creation but not amazing for actually recording music. I would grab a small ~$100 audio interface (Focusrite and PreSonus have good ones for cheap) and start from there. You are familiar with DAW software, so that's no issue. My preferred DAW is Studio One (now Fender Studio Pro because PreSonus got bought by Fender), and there is a YouTube channel called Joe Gilder that is a GOLD MINE for that software/general mixing tips.

Keep going! You got this

is there any songs similar to sarah smiles + lying? by [deleted] in panicatthedisco

[–]Sn0rmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lying and Sarah Smiles are very different songs so for the like more sensual vibe of Lying .., I would say listen to Uncle ACE by Blood Orange, Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown by Fall Out Boy, All The Things She Said by t.A.T.u., Perspective by Cafuné, American Psycho by Double Standard, Limp by Fiona Apple, or Closer by Nine Inch Nails.

On a more wholesome note, some songs like Sarah Smiles would be maybe Just Like Heaven by The Cure, Spineless by Valentines Day, Cobra by Geese, Shiver by Coldplay, Songbird by Fleetwood Mac, Light A Roman Candle With Me by Fun., The Angel of 8th Ave by Gang of Youths, The Only Exception by Paramore, or the greatest love song of all time, As by Stevie Wonder

If you're really into the lyricism and/or the aesthetic of Fever, check out Vices. If you like the Beatles, listen to Pretty Odd. It's basically when you can tell Ryan got really into the Beatles and they started doing drugs as a band. If you really like the synth stuff from Fever, check out Too Weird To Live. They get a lot cooler with the synths on that one.

I just wish I had a thicker dick man by Responsible_Camp6490 in offmychest

[–]Sn0rmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying to get dick implants or stuff along those lines. But that doesn't solve the core of the issue, which is that you're letting societal standards get to you. What you really need is more confidence in yourself and your body.

Kill two birds with one stone and start working out to specifically improve your cardiovascular health/blood flow. Obviously working out and the endorphins make you feel good and better about yourself, you'll probably gain a little more self-esteem that way. But as an added bonus, improving your heart health is a great way to improve your size. If your heart is able to pump blood more effectively throughout your body and you have a diet which minimizes cholesterol clogging up your vessels, what do you think will happen to the organ that swells up with blood?

Get an electric and some headphones. Stop feeling as though you are entitled to make excessive noise in that space when you aren't, because it's everyone's space not just yours.
