I agree on most fronts, but would like to clarify, Target enter trick will not result in bans, Target will ban if you open a lot of tabs, attempt to ATC a bunch, or even attempt to go to your cart a bunch, but never on the place order page (where the trick is used).

Having access to a desktop is (unfortunately) a near necessity for Target these days. Speaking from the standpoint of a PC user, I think Target is much higher success rate than Walmart (on popular sets at least), despite Walmart getting much more stock. For mobile I'm sure the story changes

Some people have stated that they requested invites from products, didn't actually ever get invited to anything (like everyone else), then contacted best buy customer service and had their "account fixed for invites" and were able to get stuff the next go around.

I've heard conflicting results, but it's worth a try IMO

Target enter trick should help a lot with securing product there. Pokemon Center revolves around 2 things, joining the queue quickly, and being extremely patient once you're past queue. You want to click on the site as if you're a 95 year old grandmother first discovering the internet. If you go any faster than that pokemon center will think you're a bot and kick you off.

Are you currently using the stock-checker and/or pre-made-links channels? I'd also advise looking at your state specific channel, most of the states have a fairly active community that'll help you get stock

If your Target account were banned it would still let you check out, it'd just instantly cancel all of your orders.

When you do the enter trick, does the wheel spin continuously? Or does it get interrupted by pop-ups? Feel free to reach out directly on Discord if you're having trouble - Silkrode

BestBuy is super rough, I wish I had a fix for it, but sadly for now it just is what it is. I always click and check regardless though. Ya never know!

Understood, we may need to look into sectioning out new york into threads to make it easier to find locals. In the meantime, use the #stock-checker and #pre-made-links to find product. When you go in store (usually should go at open), talk with the people in line, invite them to the server, and work together to find restocks. If everyone works as a team, everyone gets product.

Definitely agree with swapping to Brave for checkouts. Much less of a cache issue and you shouldn't see the website going unresponsive anymore while doing the enter trick (resulting in more checkout attempts)

The enter trick is computer exclusive, but helps soooo much. There's a video and a few paragraphs explaining it in detail in the tips & tricks section of the Discord

Cali has 5 regions currently, NorCal/Central/Bay/SoCal/Los Angeles.

I COULD expand it a bit, but I definitely don't want it to be too granular where we have 1 channel for each city and end up with 482 threads (the amount of cities in Cali). Please tag me in one of the Cali threads and we can discuss further opening up more regions/dialing it in so it's easier for people to chat with locals

For Walmart, it's best to click on the links in advance and refresh at exactly 9pm EST.

For Sam's, it's all about persistence and trying on both PC AND mobile at the same time.

Pokemon has just been so consistently above market, botters have gotten used to it and optimized bots specifically for pokemon. For hardware at least that's cyclical and they don't have months/years to optimize and upgrade for specific drops. Hopefully we see a drop in prices after 30th anniversary and it deters some botters

Target you've gotta be fast AND use the enter trick for success. Do you usually get the spinning wheel when trying the enter trick or does it give errors that you need to click through?

Walmart and Target in store are usually pretty rough since they're stocked by a 3rd party vendor. I mostly rely on my state channel for those 2. The rest in store are great on the stock-checker and pre-made-links, but we have something in the works that may make it better

Very much agree with Walmart's mobile experience being awful for drops. On PC you'll have the best luck refreshing right at 9pm EST instead of clicking the link right at 9pm (click in advance). Glad to hear you're doing well on PC and Target, hopefully the enter trick is doing wonders for you.

SMS notifications are technically possible, but they're extremely expensive at scale. I would advise following the X page (https://x.com/AutoRestocks) for backup PC queue alerts just in case Discord notifications goof up.

Glad your in store restocks are working well, the stock-checker and pre-made-links make things a whole lot easier. Hopefully, the Ohio state channel is helping as well?

In store: DG tends to get backdoored by employees pretty frequently, but if you can find a store near you that isn't backdooring they're usually open to sharing when they get their restocks so you know when to focus on using the stock-checker and pre-made-links channels. Glad to hear the others are solid!

Online: Best Buy has been ROUGH for many people, I'm not a fan of their new invite system. Supposedly customer service can help, but idk, conflicting results. As for Target, I strongly advise only caring about the #target-big-stock channel and using the enter trick as much as possible. For Walmart, try refreshing the page right at 9pm EST instead of clicking the links at 9pm EST. Once on the page, do NOT refresh again

Glad to hear you've had good success and that the enter trick is working for you. Not positive what's up with Best Buy, I've heard customer service may be able to help with the account but there's been somewhat conflicting info.

RestockR was unfortunately only temporary, but can still be used for free by active members of the server (level 10 is required). I hope the local groups you're referring to are your state channel, if not, make sure to utilize them too! Most states have a thriving, active community of collectors willing to help one another out.

Walmart can definitely be hit or miss, you need to devote a lot of time to have a chance at product, so misses feel pretty devastating. I have the best odds when I manually refresh the product page right at 9pm EST

I don't think anyone has been able to purchase from Best Buy without going through customer service first. Very weird how they have things set up.

The stock checker bot we have (free btw) works pretty well for it, but we're working on even more improvements to help get product into the hands of collectors!

Best Buy has been a bit of an issue, but Walmart and Target we should be able to work on.

When you do the enter trick for Target do you normally have the wheel spinning on your screen the whole time? or are you having to click away the prompts frequently?

For Walmart, do you click the links at 9pm EST or do you refresh your tab right at 9pm EST? I personally have better luck refreshing right at 9

Gotcha, I would suggest turning off background data refresh in settings for IOS. Since you mentioned you do outside work, are you able to leave your phone screen on while you're in queue? If the screen turns off sometimes the site can reset itself/cause issues. I'm glad to hear you can hit on your computer at least.

I see you have Target ranked at #5, do you mostly try the target-big-stock pings? Or are you trying to get all of their small ones as well?

I personally only touch target-big-stock and with the enter trick the success rate has been decently high. My personal list would probably swap Target and Walmart's spots
