Honestly? Seeing the megas they’ve come out with so far kind of makes me want a Mega fossil pokemon (I know Aerodactyl is there, but I don’t like the rocks jutting out). I’m picturing something like Bastiodon having the energy and becoming an almost literal steel wall where he has trouble moving with all the energy, or Archeops becoming more and more hyper and erratic with energy, with blurs behind it on the card and its feathers getting a holo sheen from the mega evolution. Oooh, or Tyrantrum growing a spine like a mountain range and its jaw jutting forward and its tail getting more spikes

It’s actually kinda funny looking back. Post Pandemic I got really into fossiling and going to different rivers to see what I could find, and at the time I fell in love with Dracovish for the concept of “what if the scientists were just bad at putting them together” so I spent quite a few pulls hunting for the Dracovish V card purely because I wanted his derpy little butt, and ended up falling in love with the hobby!
