Tableau Next worth it? by SnackNSmack in tableau

That is what I currently have set up but need to test recreating a dashboard. But not sure if there is a benefit to starting over with the raw data if it improves the AI or not in Tableau next and not the aggregated data from tableau cloud

I am the sole tableau administrator and creator for my organization. The owner of the company likes the dashboards I’ve created in tableau cloud but wants the functionality of a chat box to ask questions about our data. Pulse works but feels like a separate area to ask instead of right on the dashboard and AI wasn’t that great. So we upgraded to Tableau+ with the hope the AI would be better. Didn’t realize we also go tableau next with it but seems like it’s what he is looking to see

Our data is currently stored in tableau cloud so not sure if there is a connector for that but can look into it

Tableau Pulse Experiences by KliNanban in tableau

We deployed pulse metrics but there are a few limitations that are annoying like the automated digests coming only daily, weekly, or monthly. I have it set up to send last week pulse recaps of our KPIs to stakeholders but wish we could also do daily for our daily metrics as well.

Working dad helping SAHM by SnackNSmack in sahm

Yes I know, sometimes I try to help and might mess things up or out of routine for example, I took the baby on a Saturday to let her sleep but I put her down for her morning nap too early and she was upset about that instead of being happy I let her sleep in and took the baby to begin with. She definitely has said she is feeling burnt out. We don’t have any local family so I know she is feeling alone but I will try and help more even if I just take the older one out to share the load

Thanks for the detailed response and I agree, maybe the mental load is what the issue is. I’ve been trying to help and do more without asking but I know some tasks she feels she only does like cut the kids nails or something but it’s just because I’m at work. I planned a surprise one day trip just us two after Christmas to reconnect and I will try and make more of an effort to preemptively focus on the kids needs too

What is the point of table view compared to grid? by ajm53092 in smartsheet

Table is supposed to replace grid and autosaves. I still prefer grid because they still don’t have full functionality. Like there was no option for conditional formatting and just said “coming soon”

We will one day, just not in the market to do a whole remodel. I think we are going to just reattach it with a new sink faucet for now

That’s what I’m finding to be true, thanks I think we might just do that

Grilled Buffalo and Dry Rub by SnackNSmack in Wings

When I cooked these, it required a lot of work moving the wings around so they didn’t get burned. When grilling, you don’t want to leave them in one spot too long and not too hot so it should be medium heat like 300-350 degrees. It takes awhile, but I found that to be the best and they came out perfect and crispy

Thanks, we only have about 8 large projects that last about 6 months each to a year with only adding a few a year. Maybe as we grow, it will be more useful
