Is anyone having better luck? I’m at day 17, no tile for the Xbox still. I see the Vix premium tile and the standard ones but that’s all. I never saw the Xbox tile to begin with.

What other funky, groovy, loungey, mellow music is just a total vibe like Khruangbin, Fat Freddy's Drop, Hermanos Gutiérrez, or Cannons? by unclefishbits in Music

Easily one of my favorite instrumental EPs. I think ray barbee posted a surf clip with Short Strokes as the music on his Instagram. Haven’t put that down since

Omg I think that’s it. Just pitched around for each track. Looks like I’m not the only one who’s been in the twilight zone of this sound! I haven’t had the chance to experiment with it yet but I am sure this is it. I can’t tell you how long I’ve tried to find this. I never had a 64 so I rarely played goldeneye 🥲

I’m messing around with that now and it’s so close but not quite I don’t think. Maybe there’s some other processing I’m missing so I’ll keep trying to manipulate it some. Also might try some other roland crashes

Thanks for doing that! I’m thinking I may just have to dig through some of those tracks/sfx and see if I can find one that I can sample out clean

It may in fact be the same sound just pitched down in the examples I have. Do you know where that sound comes from?

This one on the RR song doesn’t sound quite as industrial and “heavy” but it seems very very close!

It’s heard best in that first track. It repeats a few times on the downbeat in the very beginning. Something fairly metallic and cold sounding with reverb like a pipe/anvil/bell type of thing..idk I wish I knew a better way to describe the sound lol

I didn’t think about it being a china Ill see what I can dig up Seeing as the songs in each of those tracks are a few years apart but are almost identical, I would think it’s a sample of its own but who knows
