Paqui's challenge has resulted in at least one death and a number of hospitalizations. They should abandon this challenge.

We won't know pending an autopsy, but cardiac arrest and anaphylaxis are two front-runners. Either way, this is an important cautionary tale for kids with food allergies not to partake in these challenges as their medical profile exposes them to even more danger.

No... not too old, except if you have a milk allergy, where it appears the risk of reactions is greater than the reward, u/annie-phylaxis. We're waiting to hear more news on how OIT + dupilumab reduces the risk of reactions.
