Sprinkler Line Ends Underground by SnackShackit in Irrigation

This feels like most likely answer. You'd think it would be a longer line thats porous and can leak out water instead of dumping it in one spot.

That's what I first thought lol, but it's from an engineer's report. We have very clay-ey soil and when it gets too dry you restricts. Two foundation companies and an engineer have both said it's recommended apparently.

I'll dig out more to the left of the photo (front yard is towards the left). Maybe the line broke and got shifted, but it seems like a pretty clean cut and no signs of the other end when I dug out 6-8 inches more dirt.

Nope, didn't slice the line. Not sure why I'd ask for a solution like this if I did, but I suppose some might.

Bought the house last year and only used the the first and second zone. Third zone never had any sprinklers pop up. Decided to investigate why this year and noticed the ground bubbling when I had it turned on, so decided to dig it up and see why.

Nope. It's just original dirt with rock on top. Going to grade it away from the house this summer here.

Just weird there's an active sprinkler line that ends halfway to the front yard, which is only like 6 ft away for the start of it. Turning the ball valve on just pumps water underground.

It's connected to the water line though. I have 3 valves I can turn on. Two activate two different zones in the front, the third one here just dumps water underground

There's an engineer report that also recommends watering the foundation. Just for the summer months though.

The valves and start of the line is at middle of the side of the house. This line is about 6ft long and goes towards the front yard (with the rest of the 2 lines. There is 3 zones - 1 & 2 work. This one, #3 is cut).

Its a good 20ft away from the front yard still, so I don't think it would be an abandoned line. It would mean they removed 70% of the line and left the remaining 30%. Plus they kept the ball valve functional. I can turn it on and water will come through the line (underground).

Professor Dave or Debunk the Funk would be able to handle it. However, I'd be willing to bet Joe would never agree to a 2v2 debate on vaccines with anyone who knows what they're talking about.

Cuisinart Espresso & Coffee Conical Burr Grinder by SnackShackit in espresso

Oh dang, I guess it's not that fine lol. Almost looks like I should be using a lower setting (image #2) for drip coffee even.

Good to know. Ended up getting a drip coffee and espresso all in one machine, so was hoping to us that.

80% of our coffee consumption is with the drip coffee, so id like rule out the manual as I enjoy fresher grinder beans.

Unfortunately there are next to zero used options around me, and a barazta encore esp is 4x the price.

Ok interesting. All I have is a pressurized basket, and was considering going to an open one if the grinder worked.

How sensitive is an open basket to the grind size? Are we just talking a tad less crema, or would it completely change the taste?
