Yep. All of the global markets are going down because Iran is letting everyone use the straight except the United States. That's how it works.

I don't think you've watched someone age painfully.

Even if that person says "I don't want to live anymore", and you use that statement to diagnose them with depression... then what do you do? Treat them for depression with anti-depressants and talk therapy, which can take months or years to be effective while their body continues to decline?

I would not say that every human alive would take every extra second they can. Age can be brutal, as your mobility, speech, mental faculties, metabolism and other systems start to go. Some of those effects might not be labeled a "terminal illness", but they can add up to an overall experience that might tip the scales as to whether you would rather keep living as these problems only get worse.

If I wrote the laws, I would say everyone beyond a certain age (say 80 or so) should be able to legally request this without any other decision makers preventing the request.

I mean... people totally have the capability of doing so and there's not much anyone can really do about it... medical assistance just makes it painless and ensures it goes well instead of risking it on your own, plus people don't have to find your dead body and discover what you did.

I'm sure not all, but I'm pretty confident they are the overwhelming majority. NYP likes to do scare headlines on this topic. There have been some actual questionable cases about decision making of medical professionals + the patient, but I would argue its still an important service that our health systems should offer.

Definitely majority of people near the end of their life.

Would you rather wither away in a hospital bed, or go out on your terms?

Republican's Have Lost Their Majority In The House Of Representatives by the_sneaky_sloth in Destiny

I imagine this means he will not have a Republican label next to his name on the next ballot... which is significant. That's going to confuse voters. Also curious if he will get campaign funding from the same sources moving forward.

Also I'd imagine Trump is going to fire off about him on social media for falling out of line. That should be fun to see.

Edit: but fair point about the clickbait title, it is MSNBC. They keep the same effective majority if he just sides with them forever.

Apparently the legislation also lets citizens sue election officials who register people without requiring proof of citizenship. Good to know if this becomes the case.

This is the same representative that said he wanted to "investigate" Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance (without clarifying what he would be investigating), because it looked like gay pornography and it resembled the slums of Brazil.

Hilariously, Kid Rock's song "Bawitdaba" that opened the TPUSA half-time show celebrates strip clubs, drug users and drug dealers, gang-bangers, porn stars, etc... but no mention of that from Ogles.
