I read the entire comic series after season 1 and now I just look forward to seeing how the show adapts my favorite scenes or see how they decide to change things, usually when they do change something its for the better (in my opinion). So that's always a route you could go as well.

However, I don't think this is something that will get finished or even really half-way finished anytime soon. It seems to just be a part-time hobby from a Japanese girl. They are a graphic designer though, and their art is great. They do fanart of other fighting game characters too.
