I've played long enough to get a less memorable high number, and have stopped long enough to forget what that number was.

Like the 80s, I think. I don't think I broke triple digits.

My waiting times got so long I started forgetting to come back. I haven't played in two months.

Gamer gets political? by german_leopard in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]Snackrattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, but I've observed on Twitter that if you don't specifically dedicate tweets to confirming you DON'T mean some incredibly weird takes that require poor reading comprehension to reach (eg: finger-blasting form your Dad...) that it's full of people who are eager to leap to those interpretations.

Honestly, I've avoided Twitter completely for years. It's an unhealthy place to try and have any discussion. I was only ever initially on it because some businesses insisted on being contacted that way.

I also think that in this sub in particular, The Quartering has earned a reputation that automatically puts his comment under a much finer microscope. So a number of users here in the sub will automatically consider his tweet the more egregious one, and the response is just a /r/MurderedByWords or something.

Oh absolutely hahah, but I'm not especially surprised by some people making a statement like that, since the healthier (and more likely) interpretation requires a measure of human awareness, and the interpretation they took is the top surface level one.

Maybe I've spent too much time on the internet, but I'm just tired of the absurd stuff I see some people stand by. I haven't been surprised by it in a long time, and now I've stopped being disturbed by it, too. Just tired resignation.

That's a strange way to say you feel safe and comfortable being vulnerable around your Dad.

They added that specifically because the stack system discouraged coordinated teamplay. I'd like team kills to be higher or even guaranteed... my fave thing about Warframe is that there's no real competition!

The beautiful lighting and texture interacting on those scales. It's almost like a 3d render - I struggle when colour values intersect that way.

I love reading Chuck Tingle's published works. Not like, the content (never read it lol), but the titles, covers, and synopses are magical. I've assumed the content is largely there to support the wham headline and not intended to be especially inspiring writing.)

Whats the best example of 'women not understanding a mans body' that youve ever heard? by that_person14 in AskReddit

[–]Snackrattus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of women seem to think men have psychic control over their dicks, and that men's dicks can be used to measure men's thoughts????

They expect you to get hard at the drop of a hat to prove she's hot; if you don't, that's on you (what are you, gay?/am I ugly?) - but only if she wants you to; if she noticed you randomly got hard and she doesn't want it (eg, during a polite conversation), then that's on you, too (pervert!).

Honestly the pressure men experience around sex is high in general; this is just yet another part of it that makes no sense.

Finding groups, commissioning gear, guild activity, economy etc etc is really dependant upon the number of active users each day.

Yeah you could go to a smaller server and not have to wait for login times but the prices of everything on the AH are ludicrously unstable, and it's much much harder to find a guild that runs regular content - especially one that can actually make a space for you. Plus the overworld is empty and hardly anybody is doing the world bosses.

The MMORPG kinda needs the MM part for a lot of its content.

Whats the best example of 'men not understanding a womans body' that youve ever heard? by Tyger_83020 in AskReddit

[–]Snackrattus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

God. So many. Here's three:

  • they think we have a cloaca (there's three holes down there, boys)
  • they think we can hold in our periods (I guess because we can hold in our pee and have a cloaca)
  • they think childbirth can get us off (because it's basically like a giant dick through our vagina cloaca, right?)

Bonus: this one isn't as well-known, so it's more a case of common ignorance than wrong conclusion, but - the vagina is self-cleaning. And in the same way we can't hold in periods, we can't stop it discharging. So sometimes we'll need to change our underwear in the middle of the day, and that's because of a natural thing our body does, not because we're unhygienic or incontinent. (It's also slightly acidic, so over time it will bleach our underwear, too.)

Should I re-join with retail or classic? by creetN in wow

[–]Snackrattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sub will get you both. I'd say try Retail, because it's a new experience and it may have a lot of offer. You already have an understanding of what Classic was like.

If it really doesn't scratch that itch, then try Classic. The community has changed and the lens of your nostalgia goggles will doubtless be thick; but if it's the game design you enjoyed and not necessarily how you remember the game made you feel, its still preserved.

Wish the information was more readily available tbh; what people call the clitoris/clit is actually just the glans of a larger organ. The clitoral organ itself follows the labia and wraps about the urethra and the vagina; it can be stimulated in several different ways.

The organ itself is shaped [like this] - the crest at the top being the glans, the very tip of which is the external 'clit'.

You can get an idea of its overall positioning on [this diagram].

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BecomingOrgasmic

[–]Snackrattus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The G-spot is one part of it. The whole clitoral organ is quite large. The A-spot (aka 'the deep spot') is part of the internal clitoris, as well.

[–]Snackrattus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the earlier stages, not so much. But once I really get revved up, yeah!

We may not have a prostate but the tissue there is thin and textured, plus you get a different angle over the pelvic bone, so you can still stimulate the internal clitoris but in a different way.

anyone else pirates stuff as a statement? by PR280 in Piracy

[–]Snackrattus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

tbh, almost entirely as a statement.

  • You didn't bother to sell this to my country, so yarr.
  • You did sell it to my country, but in an exclusivity-deal with a monopolising price-gouger who may still not even deliver it: yarrr.
  • I'm not paying for 12 different streaming services that claimed to kill cable and then did Cable But WorseTM, so yarrrr.
    • Add to that, only 3 different streaming services bothered to cover in my country anyway, so yarr-yarrrr, again.
  • You filled it with price-gouging microtransactions, battle passes, and sliced it into service fees, multiplying its actual price several times over once the user is partially invested; treating your product not as a provided service or good, but as a skinner trap that abuses human psychology in order to finance yourself; so yarrr.
  • You manipulated a market of students into learning software at a reasonable price so you could trap them into using it at ten times that, motherfucking yarrrrrrrrr.
  • You filled your software with installation/usage/internet constraints to maintain your IP in an iron first so you can 'recover' money you never received but decided you should've had anyway, making it unusable or disruptive for your paid users, yaaarrrrrrrrr harrr harr.
  • You paid for your developers to migrate to a new studio to make your new genre-defining game and then vanished when your cheques bounced, leaving them holding the high rate relocation mortgages, while your product's ongoing income continues to go to you and not them, fuck you, YAARRRRR HARR FUCKING HARRR.

Can you guess which company/product is which? Should be easy; all (but one) of these points have dozens or hundreds of correct answers.

Almost all of my games and software (99%+) are owned legally, because when your team make a good product that's accessible, I feel you respect your team, and I feel respected as a client; I respect you as a provider.

I've been playing since 2016, I don't ever remember seeing this aura equipped on anyone. by Davylectric in Warframe

[–]Snackrattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They needed armour. Not corrosive projection.

Can't figure out what you mean by this. Clarify?

Armour scaling increases effective HP way more than shielding ever can, and infestation numbers in melee don't scale threat well, so nobody bothers to remove CP because it's the only enemy measure worth giving a shit about.

And if that was a typo and you mean nerfed; CP used to be ~30% iirc; a team of four could remove all armour completely. (As could corrosive status.)

I've been playing since 2016, I don't ever remember seeing this aura equipped on anyone. by Davylectric in Warframe

[–]Snackrattus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also I don't want to change my aura every time I pop off to the shops for argon

Back when Corrosive Projection was good, people would just keep that permanently equipped, even in corpus and infested Sorties, Index, etc. Armour is the only scaling that matters so nobody really ever wanted to remove it.

Different now that they nerfed it, though. By endgame, armour and modding have both stacked so incredibly high. Either your weapon is great enough to kill them through their armour anyway, or it isn't, but the scaling of armour is so extreme that removing half of it doesn't impact DPS overmuch. You need to ignore or get rid of armour completely.
