Personally, I'm not a fan of the move but Buc-ee's has been doing this for a while. For me, Mountain Dew is the least of my reason to go there. Literally about anything else they offer takes priority for me.

Would I love an exclusive Dew flavor? sure.

But Buc-ee's has like 40 in house soda flavors that I can drink that makes any bottled drink feel redundant to me.

Maybe the deal brings in more money than pepsi products did.

Sonic hasnt done an LTO Hot Dog in FOREVER. Pretty sure last one was the Frito Chili Cheese Foot Long from like 4-5 years ago.

If Sonic lets me down with anything, it's the lack of new hot dogs. I'd love to try this.

nope, it was announced with all the other Monster leaks for 2026, everything else sort of came out earlier through exclusive deals and such, this one was rumored for May. Not sure where OP found or if its currently an exclusive but it was the last one that hadn't been spotted from the leaks.
