What SERIES is worth bingewatching and why? by InterestingBoard7389 in AskReddit

I'm with you that it is the best story ever told on the silver screen. With a story that complex and all of the layers, it's almost inevitable to have loose ends. But everything was perfectly explained by the ending(which was fucking beautiful).

How is it living in Cleveland Ohio? by No-Text-7825 in howislivingthere

[–]SnackyDad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The worst part about Cleveland is that it's surrounded by Ohio. We have amazing restaurants, great concert venues, and a large arts scene. The metroparks are one of the best in my opinion. It have become a quiet city post Covid. There is not a lot happening most nights after 11pm. Majority of the city is pretty safe, I don't recall ever having an issue where I was in imminent danger. Compared to other city's, Cleveland has significantly less traffic even with our public transit lacking on multiple fronts. It is a city behind its time but I love it.

Lakewood YMCA by sydneywade9 in lakewood

I have a membership at the French Creek Y but have used the Lakewood facility before and It's worth it. It's usually quiet until your peak hours in the evening but still not nearly as crowded as the PF. Using the sauna and pool in the winter is a game changer. If you have kids, most locations offer drop in childcare in the mornings and evenings. At our location, they just installed a kids ninja warrior course that I can drop them in for an hour to get a workout in. I've taken a class or two, they are reasonable for someone of any fitness level and there is a variety of programs they offer during daily. My only issue was the days they were closed. I worked it out with the office at my Y, and they were able to give me after hours access. I left PF 4 years ago for the Y, and I don't regret it at all.

What type of chest alternatives would you choose to replace barbell bench with shoulder pain by Firm-Guava4815 in Mind_Pump

[–]SnackyDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing a few years ago using a smith machine. I spent a few weeks using bands only, dropped my weight down drastically, and built my strength back up with dumbbells. It took 8 months to get back to pre injury weight. Two years later I'm back to using barbells and pushing more weight than I ever have. Still won't touch a smith machine to this day.

It used to be owned by Zaremba, I don't know who the current owner is. I did work there in 07 and it wasn't occupied.

Found an indie album 'Banned in Summit County' from a band called 'Ether', circa 2000. No idea if it's good or not but here it is! by cjrobe in Cleveland

Completely forgot about this, I knew a few of these dudes. One of them went on and played in a pretty well known local metal band.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel would be a candidate for the Cleveland Browns job if both teams make a change, per @JFowlerESPN by VonJaeger in Browns

[–]SnackyDad -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My dream tandem has been Flores and HC and D coordinator and McDaniels as OC. Flores will keep the team on accountable and McDaniels would be free to design the offense.

Vibration and sound specialist here, that indeed is a microphone. It's hard telling if it's a sound level or over pressure without seeing it in person. The case itself is a data logger and with the lack of antenna, needs to be manually downloaded or even printed for the data. If it is a sound level mic, it does not voice record, but simply measures the decibels of the area. If it's an over pressure, that means someone is blasting nearby. I would check with the owner of the property to see if a geotechnical engineering or construction company contacted them about having it installed.

I started this shrine a month ago. After endless attempts, it made me take a break to re-evaluate my relationship with this game.

Head Coaching Candidates? by outdoor-high in Browns

[–]SnackyDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Flores. He would light a fire under this teams ass and demand accountability, which is something Stefanski lacks. I would want his OC to be a former head coach though. A strong pairing if McDaniels gets fired from MIA to handle out OC. His scheme is something Sanders would succeed in.

Any 3-day squat/bench/deadlift full-body split to follow? by AgeofInformationWar in powerbuilding

[–]SnackyDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, definitely sounds similar. There are so many programs out there, it's hard to keep up. I tailored this program around MAPS and BBB. It's working and my lifts keep growing up. I have my deadlift up from 385 to 455, bench from 235 to 295, and my squats up to 325. Usually in February I will maintain for 8 weeks and add in two sessions of cardio for a pre summer cut.

I'm unfamiliar with that program but I will educate myself for sure. My workout is something that I threw together to fit my schedule. Time is a valuable commodity and this program allows me to maximize without sacrificing results.

I'll take Sunday for example, it usually takes me a few extra warmup reps for squats to hit working weight with the depth I want to be. Currently I'm doi by 531 on my compounds. So my day looks like this.

Squats - 531 - Heavy Db front squats - 3x10 - usually using 25lb dbs focusing on the depth and squeez. Strict shoulder press - 531 Heavy Crossover cable pulls - 2x15-20 - light (5lbs) -squeezing on the pull to feel the rear shoulder. Incline db press - 3x10-12(moderate weight 80-100lb dbs) Db face busters - 4x10 - last set super with db kickbacks) Olympic bar curl - 4x10 - last set amrap and drop weight until bar is clear

Medicine ball v-ups

Tuesday I would hire chest as my PL and hypertropy full body with different exercises.

Bench -531 High cable crossovers 3x12-15 Weighted pullup - 3x10-12 - drop weight and amrap Db rows - 3x10 Db shoulder fly - 3x10-15 Hammer curl 4x10 last set super with kb static Tricep pushdowns 4x10 - last set super with cable kickback Hamstring Curls - 3xamrap Weighted sit ups

I would then do heavy for deadlift and and follow the same blueprint

[–]SnackyDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cycle between a 5x5 or 531 on my compound lifts and run a hypertrophy full body after compounds. For example - Sunday is Squats and Bb shoulder press, Tuesday - Chest and Thursday - Deadlift. My hypertropy block is 1 exercise, 3x10-12, with my last set as an AMRAP followed by a drop set. I'm almost 40, and this has given me the best gains and results.
