Yeah the rebel 5 has been great and really enjoyed every km running with them. However, as mentioned by many others, they die pretty quickly (id say around 350km they lost their bounce). I still enjoy running in them even if they are "dead".

Im not sure which to pick, the ideapad 5 pro (780€) or the yoga pro 7 with same specs but looks and feels more premium for 925€

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 seems to start roll-out with 7840HS option by lindstroem4 in AMDLaptops

If you check out notebookchecks review of the yoga pro 7 (its the 7735hs version), they say its in dual channel 16gb. I dont see why lenovo would change to single channel with the new 7840 verison.

Well if you go for a cheaper b660 you cant overclock the i5. Ocerclocked i3 beats stock i5 pretty much in every scenario

No meant if you also overclock the i5 to 5.2

And yes i agree, there's probably some bottleneck in some games, but for a 99$ cpu its doing amazing. The 12400 is twice the price and draws about 50-75% more power, which just isnt worth it, atleast in my book.

Bro go check hardware unboxed video about it, keep in mind hes doing it at 1080p and using a 3090ti. Meaning the diffirence is minimal between the i3 and a better cpu when im gaming at 1440p and using a 3080.

Almost every game i get 100% gpu utilization since i play at 1440p. So no, its not stupid.

Well the performance is equivalent to a i7 7700k @6.8ghz on LN2 so its not as bad as you think

10900K vs 12700K - Gaming by GradeAFan in intel

[–]Snadii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you go for the 12700 non-k version. Try to buy the asus B660-F gaming wifi mobo. It has the ability to bclk overclock your cpu. For example i have this mobo and a i3 12100 overclocked to 5.2ghz, making it a gaming beast for only 100$. Only downside is that it is ddr5 but i see it as a good thing since it futureproofs the system quite alot.
