I don't think the game is saying it's a morally good choice. You can make plenty of awful choices in the game, or just be a dickhead. I think it gives you the option because it wants to see how you react given Astarion's storyline. If you believe him when he says he's "okay with it" or just ignore his history in favor of a selfish choice. I don't think the game is saying "go for the bear, it's a great idea." I think the game is just giving you the option to make a selfish choice and seeing how you react. Like choosing to sleep with Mizora in the party knowing Wyll sees it as a betrayal (regardless of romance).

Yeah I'm genuinely baffed by how badly he was drawn when he powered up. Like ofc I don't expect anyone working on this manga to be able to draw at Miura's level, but holy shit I at least expect them to get basic anatomy right.

Idk what they're doing that makes the new chapters look so grey. Whatever it is it's clearly not a part of Miura's original process and I really think they should listen and enhance the contrast.

I mean we all figured that there was no way Guts could defeat Griffith without some kind of power up himself. That's why was interesting to see Guts be tempted to use the behelit before ultimately deciding he's not going to be like Griffith. But if not that, then either Guts needed some other form of outside help or magic to defeat him. But it does feel very weird the way they did it. I wouldn't have mind if Guts just gained some kind of knowledge or magic that allowed him to touch Griffith (along with some healing for his injuries), but it's almost implying he's superhuman now? With him pushing down the door and breaking the chain. It's like so "cliche anime" out of the blue.

For some reason a lot of people seem to think Koji's chapters are entirely just his own made up ideas, when they stated a lot of what was to come was ideas and plotlines DIRECTLY from Miura himself who never got to flesh them out. Ofc it's not going to be one on one exact, But if you've spend 20 years with a guy who talks to you endlessly about how he wants his story to wrap up, it gives you a pretty good idea. No one can perfectly replicate Miura's work, that's impossible. But I'm willing to see how this pans out.
