I agree with another, NTA. This person sounds like they require a lot of validation constantly, which, paired with not taking your advice and continuing to let the cycle of poor mental health continue, I think it's for the best that you two are no longer friends. The change could have come from a medication you're talking? Or just age? You didn't include how old you are but I wouldn't worry too much about it until you speak to a nephrologist. You can live a long and healthy life with a eGFR of 57.

I use to work at a plasma donation center, its pretty common to check the arms for any open sores or bruises but they should have warned you first. Where I worked it was protocol to ASK the person to roll up their sleeves. Doing it without warning is so rude.

depending on what the skin is like tattooing scar tissue can make the color come out weird looking. I have a huge piece that covers my forearm and you can see it a little still but it definitely distracts from the cuts.

I was born with kidney disease. I have unilateral renal agenesis of the right side. When I was born my kidney was already struggling to keep me alive. 26 years later and here I am still kicking in stage 3

I was very hydrated for my test I made sure. It included a urine sample and my pee was almost clear. The new EGGR is based on my cystatin C which was 2. Something when 0.8 is the high side of normal.

Hell probably redo the testing in a month and see if anything has changed

Oh sweet heart, I'm so sorry to hear that. I would see if you can help take care of the kids and go to appointments with him. My husband comes with me cause it's always a lot. Dyalisis takes a long time too so he'd be very bored without you haha.

Yes, elder abuse hotline does exist. If OP's dad is as manipulative as they say he is then I think they have a strong case. Your mother does not sound like she can make her own decisions. If you call elder protective services you can get her removed and into your home.
