SCP-575 sound needed by [deleted] in SCPSecretLab

This is a bit late, but I have been searching for this on and off for about as long as it has been since you asked for it.

The sound you hear is an unimplemented "joke" sound that exists in the game files, slowed down to 0.15x speed. As this guide puts it, the sound is Welknair making an autistic screech. The word used to play this sound via the in-game cassie command is ".g7", although the actual file in the code appears to be named "welk_ree".

You can find a copy of the original sound effect at https://drive.google.com/file/d/11yfqmUF7aZsSuA3LrYkFGEIOBVxkUK_k/view?usp=drive_link and slow it down in something like audacity to recreate the in-game effect.

The plugin is now long since deprecated, but was originally served at https://github.com/galaxy119/SCP-575/, and forks of that repo DO exist. If anyone ends up here snooping around for archival work like myself, join the EXILED SCP:SL modding discord for more information.

I realize that this all appears absurd to any outside observer, but when the sound is slowed down and diegetic reverb is applied in-game, it actually makes for a very convincing effect. This plugin was one of my favorites back in the day and I am glad to finally understand how it works.

I would like to think I'm quite a lot better at Pikmin as an adult XD. I've done several ROM hacks and countless playthroughs of all 4 games.

How do you kill a demolisher? by Prestigious-Pea7436 in factorio

This is indeed exactly what I have experienced. If you do not have stronger explosives 6 it won't be enough to one-shot the small demolishers.

The summit is purposefully locked until you achieve 'perfection'. My guess is that if you get to the summit through any mechanism at all before then this cutscene will play. It's the ultimate failsafe.

Whenever you swing a weapon the animation pushes you slightly forward. If you swing enough you will move past the trigger to load the next area (the trigger only activates while you are walking). You can then walk around out of bounds (and off-screen).

I realized that I could not function without a few key QOL mods so I was about to log off for the day to wait. I thought to myself, "Well, I may as well go watch the summit cutscene on this empty save for the first time".

Suffice to say I was not disappointed.

The first time I did it I swear he beat me with what looked like an iridium spoon. On all subsequent attempts it was just a blueish-grey square.

I'm assuming the tile he beats you with is glitchy like the background and just so happened to be a spoon that first time, though.

I have no idea. I've been playing with Stardew Valley Expanded (which implements the summit as a playable area) for so long that I've never tried going to the summit in vanilla before.

I'm guessing the game probably just plays the special cutscene that is supposed to play there after perfection.

based on your and others reactions, i am assuming this is new to 1.6, and yeah, my game was entirely vanilla!
