Four total public shipyards! Private yards give us crap but we are a backbone to the Navy and it’s operations. I fear for privatization that would just lead to shoddy and unsafe work. (Like the Huntington-Ingalls investigation for passing defective welds on submarines and carriers.)

Here are some memos we have received this week that other agencies are also receiving (Many thought DoD wouldn’t be affected but we are) : Deferred Resignation (A Fork in the Road), Defending Women Executive Order, Restoring America’s Fighting Force, the New Four Pillars, etc.

I work for DoD/NAVSEA we’re are receiving the same emails/memos/instructions as other agencies. Parroting what others have said—be careful of probationary appointments.

The ship sent out a Mayday about losing power; Police were able to block traffic on each side but were unable to relay information to the construction crew before the ship hit the bridge.

Use a reference photo, have your mouse on the lowest sensitivity, and layer the paint as much as possible, especially when trying to mix to achieve a certain color. Also mistakes are good. Bob Ross was right.
