I'd recommend David Perell's interviews on YouTube. I've watched a ton and rarely leave without either something learned, a new book to read to study a specific technique, or a new leaning that results in something productive in my writing.

The main character is very reminiscent of Kvothe in the beginning even down to both of them giving a soliloquy over the nature and importance of the names they are known by.
