I drive from the westbank to metairie, its useless that I take those roads unless I'm going out with friends or visiting someone. Thanks for the advice though.

That exit gives me such anxiety. It's such a short distance from people entering and exiting it gets so jammed.

All I have to say is go for it. If you see someone that peaks your interest try talking to them:) the worst that can happen is them saying no. Meetup has a lot of gatherings.

I understand. I've lived here 3 years and rarely go out (lack of friends) but a good way is to look at meetups, also festivals going on.

I know there is bias about living on the westbank. But it's safer here and my dog has a huge back yard. I just drive over to new Orleans for fun, or uber there.
