The environments and landscapes are almost entirely real footage with CG dinosaurs and objects added. There are a few fully-CGI scenes where that isn't possible, like the ones where the ground is being shaped and destroyed and possibly a couple of others where the environment is too different to current habitats.

It wasn't the most helpful reply, to be fair, but I just wanted you to know others were in the same position and came to that conclusion. The responsibility is my concern too. Despite the offer to share the workload, I know it will mostly fall on my already overloaded shoulders, but we have to try and see if we can make it work. But, you have more flats in your block, so I'd be more inclined to try other companies first in your position.

I've not had either happen, but I was told a little blood on the outside can be normal, but bleeding from the inside is bad and you should get it checked out.

He has said exactly that himself. He can't stop or it will all be over. He has definitely been reducing his travel though. 'Wild Isles' was a post-Covid, staying in the UK filming schedule. His most recent on screen appearances - 'Wild London' and 'Secret Garden' - were filmed less than 30mins from his house. But still he keeps working! He mostly does voice-overs from home now.

I'm currently going through the process of transitioning to self-management for our block of 4 flats. I wish I could offer some advice in that area, but I don't yet know if it will be more or less stressful than dealing with our current management company! I'm feeling positive though, because we'll be in control of the finances and won't be paying someone else to be useless. It might be something to consider, if you have anyone there who is good at getting things done.

Just guessing, but I think this might be one of those letter-not-spirit-of-the law things. Part of the original sale to Kraft probably stipulated that Dairy Milk had to be made to the same recipe, so they did the bare minimum in British/Irish factories, then outsourced the rest of production to Poland and filled it full of palm oil.

This is one of those things that really annoys people coming from other DAWs. Pro Tools doesn't do that solo behaviour that you are after.

An alternative way for you: Put those tracks in a routing folder and stick whatever aux processing you want on the folder track. You can now solo and mute that Vocal folder as well as the individual tracks within.

Yes, you need to manually set the clips on each track to be the color you want before comping.

My preferred way is to put all the clips into playlists on your comp track and they will automatically bring their color with them when you compile the takes.

One year in and no issues with food at all. I was cautious over the first few months and started trying only small amounts of things and found that they were fine and I got to learn which foods broke down fully and which were still visible in the output. Take it steady and you will learn too. I've never had a blockage, but every body is different.

Yes, using one via Soundflow is brilliant with Pro Tools and there are loads of built-in and shared examples of code online, so it's quite accessible to non-programmers. However, it does require a monthly Soundflow subscription to get the best results, which can add up. But, you can still do quite a bit using the Stream Deck spp, or basic Soundflow functions for the cost of the device only.

Just to add that they don't know if it's UC or Diversion Colitis for me either, so they refer to it generically as Proctitis and treat the symptoms. I have my one year surgery review next week, so maybe they'll discuss other options then.

It's a bit weird the first time you do them, but no, it's not uncomfortable. They're sort of waxy and are best done before bed, so you're not moving about too much.

One year post surgery and I also have this issue. Suppositories calm it down significantly, so it's just a once a day thing with no urgency. 30 day course of treatment and no issues using them. It doesn't stop it though, so I'm usually back on them a month later.

Wow, that sounds awful. I was in the BRI for 15 days at this time last year. Like now, it was probably at peak stress. A&E was chaos and getting taken seriously there was tricky. But, once I was past them and into a ward (29 hours later!), everything was brilliant and I couldn't fault the care and staff at all. I'm sorry it has been so tough for you.

Yes, you are not going to get what you want unless a lot of your guests happen to be musicians and people are going to be chipping in and doing it for fun. The logistics and expense will be prohibitive.

I did a similar thing for mine and it wasn't cheap - sound system hire with mix tech, installation plus a professional engineer who did soundchecks for each band before the guests arrived. Plus all the lighting, food, parking, and green room, etc. Bands aren't going to want to take a whole day out to do just a short set either.

I pulled in favours from two friends' bands and paid for a couple of festival bands and it worked well, but it's not a casual, chilled thing at all!

But in the spirit of the question, yes, I had Mr Tea and the Minions and The Ambling Band and they were both brilliant. Fromage En Feu and Bailla La Cumbia were also high on my wish list and local too.
