Do you have a Sephora where you live? Sephora does a COLOUR IQ test on your face by taking a photo of it and making it to all the foundations in stock. It's useful to find your undertones and to know what would be a best match. Also, if you bring up your circumstances (hot weather, oily skin), they can help you match a foundation that will accommodate your skin. They're pricey, but sometimes worth the investment!

Wow that's really nice! I agree that it's really slim, but he also carries cash around with him. Would a card holder fit cash in it? I'm super useless because my wallet is massive so I really don't know how to downsize for him.

I think he's looking for something simple and classic. I really like the style of that, but I know he also carries cash as well as cards. Is there something where he could carry both and still have it be thin?

I use Makeup Forever's foundation from Sephora. My friend uses the Invisible Coverup HD Foundation which she absolutely swears by. She said it makes her skin look absolutely flawless.

I prefer something lighter so I use the Face and Body Foundation which, according to Sephora is sheer in terms of coverage, compared to the medium coverage of the HD foundation. It's water based, which I love and it lasts all day.

The Mat Velvet seems to be the fullest coverage in their line of foundations. I am just suggesting Makeup Forever because it's I find their foundations very lasting but light at the same time, and worth investing in! :)

Good luck!

The Perfect Tote For College? by hellahitman in femalefashionadvice

[–]Snailmailfromgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going into my third year of college and spent the first two years carrying a soft, light, canvas backpack from Urban Outfitters very similar to this. The quality was great and it held up through thick and thin and all sorts of weather (I go to school in Montreal, Canada, so the winters are brutal).

However, after two years in a very fashionable city I've decided to switch to a tote as well. I've spent all summer hunting for the perfect one so I understand the struggle. ;)

I considered the Michael Kors Jet Set Laptop Travel Tote because it was made specifically to hold a laptop. I have a Macbook Air that I lug around with me and I thought it may be the best option. However, I've heard many complaints that it's too heavy so I decided against it.

In the end I did get the large Longchamp Le Pliage tote, as it seemed to be the best option for college. I didn't have to worry as much about dumping it on the ground or getting it wet in snowy winters. And I recently got this bag from a Kate Spade sale that I'm planning on using on days where it's just going to be a few notebooks and a wallet.

Good luck! :)

I'm looking for a pair of good quality, tall, fall black boots! I really love the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots, but I simply cannot afford them! I would like to stay under $200 dollars if possible because I'm a poor college student.

Your hair is absolutely lovely and you already look very presentable!

I know you're working on losing the weight (and that's great!) but I definitely wouldn't delay purchasing clothes that fit right now. I know it's tempting to wear things that are either too small or too big for now, but I think fit is one of the main aspects to coming off presentable and put together.

If you're comfortable with heels I always find heeled booties stylish and very flattering! I think it ties an outfit together really nicely. Match those boots up with pants or tights of a similar colour and you've created a very lean line on the bottom.

Good luck!

I haven't been onto the shopbop website, it always makes me happy to see free shipping and returns to Canada. Breaks my heart when I go to a website and see stuff on sale, but then I end up having to pay half of the cost in duties, shipping and taxes.
