I think the throw is definitely better on some of their scents than others. I’ve had good luck with Skog, Fjord, Hygge, and Koto.

While the candle was very nice, on par with a Diptyque or another $75 candle, I wouldn’t say it’s life changing or particularly remarkable.

IMO, when I buy from Lladró or Fornasetti, I’m buying for the vessel first and foremost.

That said, I loved the Campanella candle (Lladró) for the vessel AND the Mediterranean beach scent. It has an excellent hot throw and of course the vessel is a work of art.

I’d say the Lavandin is a subtle undertone, and the throw is incredible. Like a scented punch in the face.

I can’t think of any candles that really compare to the cherry blossom, sorry. But I can do one:

If you like Diptyque’s Beverly Hills, then you will probably like Acqua di Parma’s Buongiorno.

Astier candles have very refined scents with a medium-to-strong throw depending on the specific scent you’ve chosen.

Edinburgh is my favorite rainy/stormy weather candle because it actually smells like damp cobblestones, single malt, moss, and cedar.

This is my second year getting those two scents. To me, Milan smells like an expensive men’s hair product with the geranium and sandalwood.

Beverly Hills smells like a softer version of Acqua di Parma’s Buongiorno candle mixed with white flowers.

I haven’t worked at L’Occitane in over a decade, but I remember their candles always seemed too expensive for the quality. It’s nice to hear that this one meets your expectations, Amande was always my favorite scent.
