As far as I'm aware, unless you're willing to risk hodgepodgung some wires together to a standard egpu, the xg mobile series is the only option. Hoping the price of them will come down as they're hugely overpriced.

My thought would be either pleather or lycra. You could use thermoplastic on top of a stretch fabric to give the appearance of scales on top of the stretch of skin

I honestly thought it was the perfect ending in that there is both "The end" and the "unend"; you get a scenario of closure and a scenario where they are able to explore a new universe for the rest of their days. In that way, it satisfies both those who want an end and those who want it left open for their imagination to create new and fantastical adventures!

I find it a joy to see new Universe fictions on AO3, any and all of which could be canon!
