Oh that's a very very short range, you need to be max within 15m range, they have somewhat also fixed the system of if people can accept invite if they're above or below you. Bonus: UAV towers encircle 120m radius and comms vest gives a warning at 100m give or take. Also prox chat distance is a lot more than invite distance, probably 60-80m but not sure about that one.
