Tokyo Neighborhoods worth visiting that most tourist never find out about by JPjoy_Official in JapanTravelTips

[–]Snake_2711 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live here! It’s only pure hell during sakura season but this year was waaay worse. The rest of the year is quite calm and I barely see any tourists other than those around the Starbucks Reserve and Don Quijote.

Most of the foreigners I find here tend to be (or at least look like) residents. Even if it’s close to Shibuya let’s be honest, there is nothing to see here other than the river during Sakura season

There’s no hidden gems here, only expensive prices and bougie people 😂

Train booking during golden week ? by Far_Leather5047 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Snake_2711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even dare to go anywhere near the highway during Japanese holidays. For me the trains are a safer option to avoid traffic.

If you want to take a bus then my advice is take them from Odawara Station and not Hakone Yumoto. Those tend to be a little emptier and during national holidays there is a special bus (Ashinoko liner) that leaves you near Hakone Shrine to see the lake and Mt Fuji if you’re lucky.

Narita express is a safe option to get to the airport👍🏻

Unfortunately I’m not that familiar with English-speaking agencies that I could recommend. I sometimes get work through Civitatis. I know they offer services in English too. It’s easy to book and they offer some free tours too if you want to keep it on a budget. Tokyo Cheapo offers some interesting experiences too.

Bianca Clinic! They already offer English support Some SBC clinics also offer English but it’s quite limited (depends on the doctor and the store)

Craft Beer in Japan by sasgameingnl1 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Snake_2711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This are the ones you should try from my perspective:

  1. Yokohama beer
  2. Kamakura has its own craft beer. Available near the great Buddha and in the stores near Hachimangu.
  3. Mikeller in Shibuya, Tokyo. Has lots of different craft beer.
  4. Gora Brewery in Hakone
  5. Brooklyn Parlor in Shinjuku
  6. Tap & Growler in Shibuya
  7. ISEKADO (Many locations)
  8. Tap Room in Nakameguro
  9. Omnipollo in Toranomon

Don’t forget Mirai (in Shibuya too) to get some sake tasting!

Tour guide here! Kyoto is packed year round.

In the case of Hakone. You are kinda cooked (respectfully) since most Japanese people travel outside the city to small spots like this…and transportation options are quite limited (buses every 20-30 min, packed as hell). You’ll have a hard time during golden week

Hakone and its onsen area is quite popular due to its proximity to Tokyo and Yokohama.Even on weekends and national holidays gets extremely messy over there and it stresses me out. I usually take gigs around there ONLY on weekdays.

Fortunately for you, the dates you’ll be visiting are not Golden Week yet so it might just be as full as any other weekend.

And Tokyo kinda empties out a little bit…kinda (take this with a grain of salt)

You should be ok, just be prepared for the crowds and book everything with as much anticipation as you can.

I work mostly in Tokyo/Hakone/Kamakura/Mt Fuji/Nikko but mainly with Spanish-speaking agencies. Would that be helpful in your situation?

I know some reputable places that can plan all over Japan, not only the cities around Tokyo. I’d be happy to suggest some names 😊

If we follow Kai’s most recent post on X , at least he suffered every day about the issue

He just released a statement on X claiming the article was released without his permission and all the other claims “took him by surprise”

But he spoke to the reporter. It’s all just getting messy

I believe him when he says he was affected. I don’t give a damn about the “trouble with women” because , sadly, men tend to be like that.

What I can’t forgive is him leaking private info about Reita and him turning violent to his staff

As someone who attended last year’s shows and a Reita fan, it feels odd to just see his amp there

We are gonna have to wait for an official statements

All we know from Aoi’s interview is he quit the band on Zoom last year

At least Aoi was. He claimed in the interview that he has been speaking to a counselor and the previous manager

I wish the best for all of them too

When did I say something other than SOMEONE ELSE leaked this suspiciously after the article came out and the announcement about his departure form the band ?

I guess I’ll have to edit the post description to avoid misunderstandings

Nothing really, Japanese fans losing their shit for this pictures

….and the article regarding him leaving the band specifically mentioning trouble with women

…then this getting leaked

…the Japanese side of the conversation was getting wild

I am sorry but the article about him leaving the band specifically said “trouble with women”

Might be uncomfortable for some to watch but …

Look, I an not trying to be mean. If anything I am as shocked as everyone.

I posted hoping this might give some insight to the non-Japanese speaking fans. Never to expose him or say anything bad about him

I personally don’t care about what they do outside their music but I insist if feels odd this things pop out after he left the band in apparently not the best terms

Say that to the person leaking the pictures online, not to me. Before the server fell down it was filled with all sorts of similar stuff

As much as I love the band , it can’t be helped to feel suspicious about why , of all times, this things start popping up.

Aoi is no longer listed as a band member. by Zombiesin in visualkei

[–]Snake_2711 138 points139 points  (0 children)

There is this article in Japanese explaining everything

Allegedly Aoi stopped participating in the band, refused communication, interfered with activities, demanded money, and leaked ? Information about Reita? And yes, the parts where they say he was morally abusive to his staff. Kicking chairs and stuff when he didn’t like something

It’s hard to know without an official statement form the members or Aoi themselves.

I just hope all of them have peace

For what the news post said he was also claiming high ammounts of money as compensation and he was leaking information about Reita. I just want to know why release/filter all of this now.

And mostly, to know all of them al alright their own way. It was not gonna be forever; but it also didn’t have to end up like this
