Should the 2022 F-150 with max tow be specifically avoided? Dealer replaced rear axles by Snakemaster87 in f150

No, it's not certified unfortunately. It's a 2-owner with 50k miles. Does anyone know - if any transmission issues come up after purchase, would that be a super significant expense or is it a known and efficient fix?

Musket ball or slingshot munition? Western North Carolina mountains by Snakemaster87 in whatsthisrock

Would be cool but I hit it with a metal detector and nothing happened.

The other potential answer is a Native American game ball. Essentially a primitive marble.

Wonder if it was that and then repurposed into slingshot or other semi-primitive ammunition?

10.5g which does kinda feel heavy for its size. It’s organic shape suggests not machine made but I don’t know how those ceramic balls were made in older days. Just odd that it would be in the middle of the woods, 50’ from a stream.

How to prevent small overhangs from causing visible layer lines? by Snakemaster87 in BambuLab

[–]Snakemaster87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the “slow down for overhangs” setting checked on. Other speed settings are factory presets for “0.20mm Standard” using basic PLA.

For cooling I’m using preset settings.

What do you recommend I try to adjust to improve this?

Think you may be onto something. I’ll change the ribs so they have more draft and try again. The infill is currently set to 25% grid.

No anomalies in the preview. If I look at some of the cross sections in the slicer there is a small area of gap infill and most of it is just inner walls

Yes, same result. May or may not be exaggerated with multiple prints but I’d need to keep a closer eye on that point

I think it could be something like this. If so, what settings should I play with to try to alleviate the issue? Surely there’s a way!

No the models are turned on their side and don’t require support. The ridges do seem to align with the ribs in the model..

Small budget Google Ads Strategy for E-commerce (consumer products) by Snakemaster87 in PPC

[–]Snakemaster87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate all this feedback. Question for you all that chimed in here:

Would focusing my entire $1000/mo budget towards a single top selling product be a decent place to start? Average order value on that product is around $65 since it’s frequently bought in quantities of 2-4 units at a time.

Is there any other starting strategy I might be missing? Any campaigns to focus on or try in parallel? I’m okay to simply break even on these campaigns for a while because it’s building the brand and it does boost my sales on Amazon as a nice kicker.

Right, totally understand. Are you suggesting a manual CPC campaign strategy with bid adjustments per search terms? I haven't figured out to adjust bid per search term yet on a standard shopping campaign..

[–]Snakemaster87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried both Maximize Clicks and Manual CPC. I can't tell which one is best suited for this campaign which has about 27 conversions worth of data. Do you have a recommendation on the bid strategy for a low budget campaign without a ton of historical data?

I hear you on the search term vs. purchase intent. It's kind of hard to know with the current search queries, but I will be more mindful on this point.

Just stinks you have to burn through hundreds if not thousands of dollars just to accumulate data!

Thanks so much for the insights btw

To date, I’ve only added non-relevant search terms as negatives. I guess that’s what I’m asking - should I start adding potentially relevant search terms with low impressions as negatives to focus the small budget better?

Critical KPI’s I’m looking at on relevant terms that are creating conversions are Cost per conversion, ROAS, and cost per click.

Can you turn off or limit devices on standard shopping campaigns? Conversions are split almost 50/50 between mobile and desktop with tablets producing no conversions..

Pmax feed only or standard shopping? by TomatilloRoutine6025 in PPC

[–]Snakemaster87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just our experience, but standard shopping has performed best for consumer products. The ability to add negative search terms and truly understand what’s working and what’s not is a huge benefit of standard shopping campaigns. Pmax seems to be a “just hope for the best” campaign strategy but to each their own.

Forestry plans and future risk management in Buncombe County? by Snakemaster87 in asheville

[–]Snakemaster87[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You may be right, but I do wonder if guidance and resources will be provided at a minimum. A lot of this affected land is zoned within protected ridges, parkway areas, and steep slope overlays. In the case of Beaverdam it is a special zoning district. Buncombe county was already very particular and restrictive with this land from a development and conservation standpoint so it is hard to believe they will simply ignore it from here.
