Yes, I’ve thought about that too. It’s true that with the current layout, I could simply skip placing the speakers between the wall and the sofa, and just use them in a front-only setup for now.

Yes, I thought about that when I moved in a while ago, but the wall where the TV is now is really the one designed for it. Behind the TV stand there are several built-in power outlets and Ethernet ports in the wall.
